Holograms - Holographic Displays
Inspired and based on Asdjke's Holographic Displays filter for MCEdit, the Holograms plugin allows you to create Holographic Displays of text, images and even GIF Animations, much like the Filter. It is a very useful and nifty way of displaying information across to users, or just as a form of decorations, or space-age theme. The first few releases may be very buggy, but the next few builds will attempt to fix the multiple issues, if any.
Inspired by Asdjke's Holographic Displays MCEdit Filter. All Credit to Asdjke!
Commands and Permissions
| Command | Permission Node | Description |

| /hologram text | holograms.text | Create a text hologram where you are standing. |
| /hologram image | holograms.image | Create an image hologram where you are standing. |
| /hologram remove | holograms.remove | Remove the hologram where you are standing. |
Note: Default commands for operators.
Installation
- Download the latest version of Holograms. (Downloads Page)
- Download the latest version of ProtocolLib (ProtocolLib - Latest)
- Move both the Holograms jar file and the ProtocolLib jar into your plugins folder.
- Restart your server
- Done! (Note: ProtocolLib Dependency is temporary)

Important Notes
Mobs must be enabled where you create Holograms, otherwise this will NOT work.

Posted Oct 11, 2014Hey. There is no reason for this plugin to be released. During my period of inactivity, several useful Hologram plugins have been developed which most likely, suit your needs. Be sure to check them out :)
I am back, and will be developing plugins again. Check those out too!

Hello Nabakin.
MANY people have already created plugins based on this idea, and although we were one of the first to actually make it (private testing), sadly, we don't see any point in releasing this plugin as it will just be the same (functionality-wise) as those other plugins. We appreciate your dedication to this project, however, due to the circumstances, we don't think we will be releasing this plugin...
On a positive note: If we can make this project unique in some way, we shall release it in the future. What we WERE working on was holograms that didn't cause a massive FPS drop, however, I believe this has been done (it all depends on how quickly a plugin is released). We intended to release it as soon as we could, however, we decided to take our time and make a stable plugin.
Anyways, be sure to check out some of those other hologram plugins, they have done a good job in getting a quick release :)
And yes, it is real... Pointless creating this page if it wasn't :P

Posted Apr 6, 2014For those who are watching this page waiting for a release. The project has said "95% Complete! Currently being tested before upload. Uploading within 1 day or so." for over a month. So most likely this won't be released. If it's even real, which I'm beginning to doubt..

Originally, I intended to discontinue this project. However, I will try to create the plugin in a way, so as to prevent lag.
