yes I will definately add that feature; somebody already suggested. I'm going to add permission specifically for that.
Just the thing is my school work is too busy now so can't promise when I will do that

1. no, it is independent plugin
2. I would add world selection option but not sure for y levels
and somewhat yes, the scanning doesn't occur at the same location if it is calculated already in some amount of time. Not much performance issue now. I used every single move event to check the ores around before, but now it only check 3D "integer" coordinates excluding pitch or yaw.
3. sure, what you just have to do is changing the config.yml

Posted Nov 2, 2015Hi, I have a few questions. 1. Does this require ProtocolLib? 2. Does this have a feature to switch it on only at different worlds or different Y levels? Would it save CPU to say restrict the scanning of this plugin to only ores below level 50? 3. Could this also be used to hide spawner blocks and mossy cobblestone? and replace them with stone?

tried to support paper spigot 1.7.10 but didn't quite work
paperspigot support both 1.7 and 1.8 so the protocol is kind of messy
I might add paper spigot support in future but no gaurantee

which server are you on?
spigot? craftbukkit?
I observed that too in spigot 1.8.3 and 1.8.5
I'm pretty sure that spigot team messed up with their internal anti x-ray stuff, so I ended up couldn't fix that problem
somehow, it magically works in spigot 1.8.8

Posted Oct 18, 2015Tried this plugin but it does not seem to work. I see diamond ores on a distance of 40 blocks the same way like directly infront of them. Log says hideores was enabled.
Does this not work together with worldguard, -edit or any other common plugin?

Posted Oct 8, 2015Hey thanks for updating and from what it looks like you might be taking over the Orebfuscator plugin! Is there anyway to add a snippet of code to either disable yours for ops or add a command to turn it off and on like orebfuscator?

Posted Oct 1, 2015This is quite interesting. You haven't updated this in a while so I haven't seen it to comment on it. Although, I like the idea of this. I assume it's supposed to mimic the same idea that Mineplex has on their Bridges game. If it is, you've done a great job of it, and I love it ^-^
Keep up the great work, my friend!

i have no idea
what i can see is that it works in CraftBukkit 1.8.3 and 1.8.5 but not in Spigot 1.8.3 or 1.8.5
this thing happens because i send false ores to clients and reveal them as soon as players come closer to it, but somehow spigot updates these false ores immediately while players are moving no matter what so yeah.. it doesn't work
i'm looking forward to find the solution but it seems not possible unless i do something with NMS or spigot itself change
