Spleef is a gamemode in Minecraft where your goal is to knock out players by destroying the ground under them.
If a player touches a deathzone or water/lava he is out of the game. Last man standing wins...
HeavySpleef provides an easy to use plugin to setup your own, professional spleef games.
Just setup a spleef game, based on the tutorials and you're ready to play spleef in a completely automated environment.

This plugin collects minimal usage statistics by use of the MCStats service. All statistics submitted do not identify you as the server owner and are kept completely anonymous. If you do not want to participate in this statistic collection and you want to opt-out set opt-out to true in the /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml.
If enabled, the following is sent every 15 minutes:
- Metrics revision version
- Server's GUID
- Players currently online (not max player count)
- Server version string (the same version string you see in /version)
- Current version of HeavySpleef
- Server's OS
- Which add-ons you are using

HeavySpleef also allows you to update your plugin with the simple /spleef update command. You may disable this check by setting update -> enable-update-check to "false" in the config.yml. This also blocks everyone from using the /spleef update command.

Posted Apr 23, 2014Hello I have a request for this plugin.
I have tried to make it so HeavySpleef does not save inventories when you join a lobby but I cant seem to figure out how. The question you may be asking? I have a minigames server and spleef has a problem because when someone joins a lobby it saves their inventory but since the game is in a whole nother world, when you leave the game you have nothing in your inventory that you had before, but instead it will be in your spleef inventory next time you play a game. So to solve this problem I was thinking that maybe you could make it in the config if you want HeavySpleef to save inventories when you join a lobby or not. It would really help me greatly. I really love this plugin and I love using it. Btw you don't have to add multiverse support, you would just have to add it so saving a player's inventory is optional.

It depends on how big your floor's are, and which version you're using. I recommend latest dev build. Also, try to use /timings paste and see what it says about heavy spleef.

Posted Apr 21, 2014Плагин очень хороший. Но постоянно вешает сервер, TPS низкий и RAM загружается быстрее обычного. Протестируйте на сервере с онлайном 150-300 игроков.

Oh no no, it's not a potion effect or particle effect. They have designed the plugin to just set you to invisible I'm pretty sure, so really it would only be a couple lines, but I understand your decision, but it was a suggestion and I think it's still a good idea, in my opinion. Thanks though TGS! :)

Okay not a coder myself so I can't say if it's that easy. Still, I don't feel like it's HeavySpleef's job to make the player visible, remove all his potion effects and adjust his speed, or whatever plugins people are using to make spleef harder to play.

A lot of plugins have this option. It's a simple fix. Once a player enters a game, do this: event.getPlayer().showPlayer(p); or event.getPlayer().hidePlayer(p);
This is the "basics" of what needs to be added. Literally, 2-6 more lines after this ^ or less.

I fully know and understand your suggestion, but I think that the players should toggle it themself before entering spleef. Also, I don't think it's possible, since the plugin "hacks" the protocol to remove the players visibility AFAIK, and I doubt those plugins have a Api.

Yes.... The plugin that toggles player invisibility on/off is because of another plugin, but I'm asking if you, or the owner can add it so when you enter an arena and/or lobby, it turns player visibility on for players. I'm just SUGGESTING you should add it because a lot of servers have that player visibility toggler, so having players still invisible in an arena is an issue. If that still did not make sense, reply back again. :) Thanks mate!

Posted Apr 15, 2014Hey, could you add it so players are shown while in game because some servers have the player vanish clock thing, and if they have players to invisible, you can't see them in the arena and it deletes the item so you can't set it back. So, make player visibility set to true while in game would be great! Thanks, cheers! :)

There is already a VIP permission. You can find it by clicking the "Commands + Permissions" button. You can activate so people can join full games in the config if they have that permission.
