Health is vitally important (see what I did there?), finding it can be very difficult sometimes. Hearts creates randomly spawning pockets of floating health bubbles, via particle effects, that allow the player to recharge their health. Simply walk over the hearts and get your boost. If you have full hearts you'll gain temporary absorption from attacks, else you'll simply be healed up.

There's no set-up required, currently the only configurable options are the frequency at which they spawn, and the health given by the hearts.
