The current builds on bukkitdev are mostly outdated for builds 1.7.10 and above. I highly recommend you download a development build to avoid issue!

Description

HawkEye reloaded is a continuation of the beloved former "Hawkeye", which is now completely inactive. It gives you the ability to log changes, search through them, roll edits back and much, much more.

Command List

Command	Description
/he help <Command>	Provides help for the specified command
/he	Displays a page showing all HawkEye related commands
/he tool bind	Binds the custom parameters to the tool
/he tool reset	Resets tool to default properties
/he tool	Toggles the searching tool
/he search <parameters>	Searches the HawkEye database
/he page <page>	Displays a page from your last search
/he tpto <id>	Teleport to the location of the data entry
/he here <radius> <player>	Searches around you
/he preview apply	Apply the rollback preview
/he preview cancel	Cancel the rollback preview
/he preview <parameters>	Preview the rollback changes
/he rollback <parameters>	Rollback specified changes
/he undo	Reverses your previous rollback

Requirements

- Latest RB of bukkit
- MySQL database (Your host should provide you with one)
- (optional) WebServer (if you want to run the Web Interface)

Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

Hem according to the page "What dos it log", there is only a mob kill data with id 31. Is there no exact data for player ? As PvP death shows who killed the player but not who the killer killed isn't it ?

Some of the log datas remained the same, whats wrong with PVP kill? I'll fix it when I'm done with worldedit logging.

wow, this is a huge log !
I just discovered that you keep hawkeye up to date and thank for this :)

The log datas are the same as the old hawkeye ? Still nothing about pvp kill ?

Ok! Great news! The latest dev build contains a new, WAY faster logging feature. We're talking about 100,000 entries being logged in less then a minute!

Gotta do what ya gotta do. Its for the best in the long run and im sure some people will complain like CRAZY, but most of us admins who arnt 13 y/o will understand, life would carry on. :)

I've been working on new database handling for awhile. I currently have the hashmap -> mysql logging at 20,000 + entries per sec. That's about 100x faster. I'm now working on my actual mysql performance. Which will be hard seeing as i don't want to edit the actual table.

Hi, I recently had overload issues with HawkEye reloaded, after reading your comments you suggested that it might be an issue with the MySql server or possibly nuker or world events. After lots of playing and research i still couldnt resolve the issue. I have since moved to another logging plugin (not gonna say which as im not here to advertise it) and i have had no issues with it. Nothing else on the server changed except for the removal of HER and addition of the new plugin. This would suggest there is some kind of issue with HER. Im just telling you for your reference, not to be horrible or anything like that, i was very happy using HER. I just thought it may help you in resolving the issues :)

Whenever I try to activate the automatic cleanse utility in HawkEye-Reloaded 1.1.0, I get several SocketExceptions. The cleanse utility seems to work through, at least I get the 'x rows deleted' messages. Is this an error on my side or a bug with the cleanse utility?

With the Web Interface, it stops allowing you to search certain commands, like we can't search Block-Break or Block-Pickup even though the database has them. It just comes up with "No data in this table" and worked a day ago.

Some things like heads and item frames do not log and in turn do not roll back. I also had some problems with levers not rolling back.

Are you going to add these items to make them log?

Looks like your mysql can't handle the plugin. You could try to decrease the logging timer, but it looks like someone is using nuker or something else. We're trying to increase the logging speed without having to edit any tables, we'll just have to see.

Sniper's error also causes a thread leak in the long run which eats up all server memory and eventually crashes it. bob7l, you may be interested in knowing our server has multiple worlds. Even at very low loads your plugin, in the way it is currently designed, simply can't handle it. You must at least take care to handle exceptional situations in order to prevent damaging crashes.

Hawkeye will stay connect to my MySql for about 5 minutes, then it disconnects, and my console gets spammed with

[HawkEye] Error whilst attempting to get connection: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.MySQLNonTransientConnectionException: Too many connections 2013-01-19 08:39:23 [SEVERE] [HawkEye] Unable to close SQL connection: java.lang.NullPointerException 2013-01-19 08:39:24

Would i fix that my setting max connections to like 5?

Feature request: Support for MySql client(jdbc) encoding configuration

current jdbc url: jdbc:mysql://[dbhost]:[dbport]/[dbname] request example: jdbc:mysql://[dbhost]:[dbport]/[dbname]?useUnicode=true&characterEncoding=[config.yml]
