Description
HawkEye reloaded is a continuation of the beloved former "Hawkeye", which is now completely inactive. It gives you the ability to log changes, search through them, roll edits back and much, much more.

Requirements
- Latest RB of bukkit
- MySQL database (Your host should provide you with one)
- (optional) WebServer (if you want to run the Web Interface)
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

Posted Aug 13, 2013[SEVERE] [HawkEye] Unable to execute cleanse utility: java.sql.SQLException: Can not issue data manipulation statements with executeQuery().
getting this error on every attempt to clean up the log.
Also I tracked a x-rayer to an enderchest and he was logged off so I can't see in it using essentials. I used hawk and all I can see is him opening the chest but no transactions at all?
I've never used hawk on a enderchest before so not sure if thats normal or not.

Sorry, I should have made it clearer: The message is printed irregular, meaning a few minutes the console is spammed with them, than a few minutes nothing happens until it starts again. Might be something one of my players does, but I have no idea how I should track the action down.
The configuration was not changed manually when upgrading, if this is important at all.

Hmm.. A null every second? If it's every 2 seconds, that means your logging something null.

Listen man, I agree that hawkeye should have total player time logged, but just because this plugin doesn't have a feature that some other plugin has doesn't mean you can talk trash to the amazing developer that has spents tons of time and hard work into this plugin. That is just plain rude.

Posted Aug 13, 2013How is total time spent on the server not an action... "logblock " supposedly to you should just log blocks then, but oh at least they use the playertable for more than just an id and playername jeez.

We wont ever log the total playtime, it's an action logging plugin not a playtime. The update will attempt to update your tables but might fail, that's not our fault. You WILL notice big differences in the query time and restore rate. We've increased the performance by a lot.

Posted Aug 13, 2013Plugin column HawkEye .. for millions of entries.. completely pointless, and the player table still doesn't log the players total playtime.. I mean the one fucking thing that Logblock is still required for jeez.
Also even though it spent like 10mins with mysql updating tables (I pressume thats what the cpu was doign with it), it seems that the web interface when checking the chat on a player, isn't even showing anything beyond the point of this update. So I might as well have wiped the entire db, as it seems now that all the 100000's of entries before even though they are in the db taking up space, don't get picked up with the web interface anyway, it only shows new results from when I did this hawkeye update.

Well it depends on the size and your servers speed. Mine was 10gb big and took about 5-10 minutes to finish.

Posted Aug 13, 2013Just curious to know how accurate the 1-30 minute estimation to update the MySQL tables really is. What about a hawkeye database that we've had for over a year with logging just about everything? So far the update has taken about 12 hours, did it freeze or is there something I can do to make it go faster? Like turn off some of the logging features?

Posted Aug 13, 2013I noticed a lot of items picked up are logged as null when I do a search. Also all chat comes up null as well. Any ideas? I am running your most recent build of hawkeye recommend build. I was running a dev build before that. No error messages in console before, during, or after install.
Maybe wipe config file an re generate? Anyone else with this issue? Don't want to wipe my tables but I will if necessary.

I'm not sure exactly what this means? Are you saying you have to run a dev build before you can install the recommended build? Or if you've used container-transaction you need to go to the latest dev build and run on that.
