Hawk
OVERVIEW
Hawk is a old school fly plugin that allows you to fly/hover without being in creative mode. All you have to to is to hold a feather in your hand and rightclick. With the first click you will be in the fly-mode, with the next click you enable the hover mode. While you hover, you can move up by pressing SHIFT. The next click will bring you down to the ground again.
The Configuration allows you to modify the boost you get while flying/hovering, the item used, the displayed messages and if you want flying/hovering to consume items over time.

CONFIGURATION
Main:
ItemID: The ID of the item the player has to hold in his hand to be able to fly
FlyBoost: The forward boost while flying, the higher the faster
HoverBoost: The upward boost while hovering
ConsumeItem:
Enable: whether flying/hovering should consume items
ItemID: The item to consume
SecondsFly: Every X seconds the Item gets consumed while flying
SecondsHover: Every X seconds the Item gets consumed hovering
Messages
Fly: The Message that gets displayed to a player when he starts to fly
Hover: The Message that gets displayed to a player when he starts to hover
Land: The Message that gets displayed to a player when he lands

Posted Aug 13, 2012Would love to see this updated, hovering seems ultra sensitive since upgrading to 1.3.1. Setting hover boost to 0.1 makes the player go up too fast, 0.0 drops too fast. Flying seems choppy as well but works for the most part with occasional plummeting from the sky :-)

Posted May 12, 2012Although I gave myself permissions, it keep saying i do not have permssion to use the command, but i can still fly.

Would be quite helpful if you could provide more information.. what craftbukkit build/hawk version/what is the spammed message/what does trigger it/..
I already filter the spam out and on my testserver I dont get any log spam, so its pretty hard to fix if I cant reproduce it.

You are probably getting this message due to mcMMO Wings of Chimera which requires 10 feathers to fly to spawn.

I aint trolling you at all. I get this message and I have no other plugins anything to do with feathers installed..Let me double check.

Posted Mar 20, 2012How to disable the nofall damage? Because if i stop flyng in the air and fall i dont take any fall damage. Actually the plugin disables fall damage for everyone even if your not flyng !
