HauntedHorse
HauntedHorse is a solution to the skeleton horse and zombie horse "problem". One of the only ways to spawn one of these horses is through using 3rd party editing tools. YUCK! Why not have a simple command to spawn one? Well here is that simple command for that simple task! Getting the Haunted horses of the undead on YOUR server, today!

Installation
Simple installation! Just grab your self the latest .jar file, put it in your servers /plugins/ folder, and start your server. Simple as that!
Version 1.1
Version 1.1 is not currently approved by bukkit, but you may get it here: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/hauntedhorse/files/2-haunted-horse-v1-1/
Config
The only thing currently configurable is the cooldown duration between commands, default is 2 minutes.
Permissions
- hauntedhorse.spawn Allows use of the ./hh command
- hauntedhorse.spawn.zombie Allows spawning of untamed zombie horses
- hauntedhorse.spawn.skeleton Allows spawning of untamed skeleton horses
- hauntedhorse.spawn.zombie.tamed Allows spawning of a tamed zombie horse
- hauntedhorse.spawn.skeleton.tamed Allows spawning of a tamed skeleton horse
- hauntedhorse.cooldown.exempt Exempts a player from the cool down time
Commands
- ./hh s - Spawns a Skeleton horse
- ./hh z - Spawns a Zombie horse
The command letters are easy: Skeleton and Zombie
Bonus Point
But Mojang made them untamable? Ohh, think again! Simply add a "t" on the end of it, and bam! It's tamed to you! So:
- /hh s t - Spawns a tamed rideable skeleton horse!

The no leads issue is in Mojang end. Mojang made them so they didn't spawn and that they weren't able to be rideable, though I was able to get them to be rideable with a tad bit of a work around. Currently, I don't have a way to have them be leadable however as Minecraft and bukkit changes I will continue to look into this possibility. The texture thing is either client side, or on Mojangs end. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Posted Jul 30, 2013I think I've found two minor bugs: spawning horses works fine, tamable horses, too but I cannot tie them to a fencepost with a leash; whenever I right-click them with a leash I just mount them. Also, the texture of the saddle on zombie horses appears to be glitched/buggy. Seems like a client side issue, since these kind of horses weren't supposed to be ridable at the moment but I feel like posting it nonetheless. Any ideas?

Well, yeah. I believe so. The /hh works fine and the plugin installs fine with the config in place. I haven't gotten to test anything else yet :r

How embarrassing! I've left a debug feature in! Besides these issues, does the plugin work correctly?

Posted Jul 28, 2013Alright, so I loaded this baby up, and added all permissions files to my admin group. Whenever I do the /hh command, the help page pops up. Whenever I do /hh s or /hh z, it only says "arg is 1" in chat, then no error in console. Whenever I do /hh s t or /hh z t, it only says "arg is 2" in chat, same as above. No errors, nothing spawned... Does this plugin use an API that other plugins may use? Or would it be an internal issue with your plugin? :r

I have added it, the link is in the description, waiting for approval by bukkit. Let me know if that's how you like! I'm working on multiple cooldown permission times, trying to find a resource conscious way of doing it. Hope you enjoy HauntedHorse 1.1!

Sounds nice! Yeah, cooldowns like essentials kits, for example. Can't wait for an update :D

I'll see about adding a cool down, much like with kits :) As far as separate permission nodes, that's easy to do and I'll get right on that!

Posted Jul 23, 2013Would you be able to implement a feature so you can restrict how many times someone can spawn the horses? Say with a config file, you could create groups, each group would be assigned a permission node, and in the config file you could specify how many horses a player could spawn per interval? Interval could be specified aswell. Basically what I'm asking is if there would be a way to make this a kind of donator perk with a cool-down. Something to make it so not only OP's can have access... Right now, if you have the permission node you can spawn as many as you want, essentially. Could you also make separate permission nodes for each horse, aswell as each tamed version?

Posted Jul 11, 2013Perhaps have an option to shorten the commands? Command aliasing should be fine. No need to change the plugin entirely. Not trying to sound super lazy here, but shorten the command to /hh s and /hh z? It'll just make life that much easier.
