HatMe

HatMe is a simple "hat" plugin with a little more functionality than most. Just like any common hat plugin '/hat' puts the block in your hand on, and '/unhat' takes it off. What this plugin adds is the ability to restrict blocks and items from the config file. HatMe uses Bukkit permissions but will use OP permissions if Bukkit permissions is not found.
Commands and Permissions
- '/hat' - Puts the item in your hand on your head or takes it off if your hand is empty- 'hatme.hat'
- '/hat <item id>' - Puts the item of the item id you type in on your head - 'hatme.hat.give'
- '/hat -a' - Puts entire stack on your head - 'hatme.hat.all'
- '/unhat' - Puts the item in your head in your inventory - 'hatme.hat'
- "hatme.*" - gives full permission on HatMe
- "hatme.hat" - gives permission on /hat
- "hatme.hat.all" - gives permission on /hat -a
- "hatme.hat.give" - gives permission on /hat <item id>
- "hatme.norestrict" - gives permission on /hat with no restrictions
- add ".<item id>" to allow just that item. Ex. "hatme.hat.5" or "hatme.hat.give.5"

I'm very sorry about that, I did note about the permission change. You should always double check the changelog.
I generally don't like to change permissions, but it needed to be done with the re-code and all.

Posted Aug 18, 2012Out of nowhere changing perms and adding commands for old perms is a dumb idea. You screwed my server over by doing so.
I allowed people who donated for hat to wear all hats so they had hatme.hat.* then you randomly change the perm and add in a command that spawns the item on their head with the old perm.
Rediculous.

But next time be more "unique". There are already over 10 of these plugins where you use /hat or /helm to play a Block ID/Item on your head.
Maybe instead of a Hat plugin you could make a "ChestMe" Plugin. Like instead of placing something on your head you place something on your boby/chest!
I will totally download load it then.
But all and all looks pretty nice, tested it no errors found.

Posted May 10, 2012I gave "'hatme.hat" to my mods - But i have to also give "'hatme.hat.ITEMID" for every single block I want them to use?
with just "hatme.hat" they were unable to use the command while holding normal blocks.

Posted May 6, 2012Ummmm hatme.hat give access to all blocks as hats????? Trying this right now on my server i already spent a while puting hatme.hat.X into my donor groups and now when they have just the hatme.hat perm they can do them all... using permx any help?!?!

Posted Apr 5, 2012I'll be working on some new features soon, Once I get my new computer setup for coding things. I would like to do a rewrite of it because its not the nicest code, it was after all my first working and released java/bukkit plugin. Thank you all for your support and keep the ideas coming! I don't think I will be adding a feature where glowstone will glow. If you would like to help me with writing that shoot me a pm!
