SortingHat is the must have plugin for Harry Potter RPG servers. It allows you to sort players into the Harry Potter houses and color their name and armor off based off their house. You can setup a sorting hat to automatically sort players or you can force sort them into a house. A sorting hat is just a location that you define, and when you walk over that location you are sorted into a house like in Harry Potter. You can also define locations for house's common rooms and allow players to teleport to them.
Commands
/sort <player> <house>: Sort the defined player into the house
/setsortinghat: Set the sorting hat at your location.
/house: Teleport to your house's common room.
/sethouse <house>: Set the house's common room spawn.
Permissions
sortinghat.sort: Access /sort command
sortinghat.setsortinghat: Access /setsortinghat command
sortinghat.house: Access /house command
sortinghat.sethouse: Access /sethouse command

Posted Apr 14, 2015Would have been nice to know that, after installing this plugin, your armor would be replaced permanently with leather which you cannot remove, unless you uninstall the plugin.

Excuse me , i can change the prefix name , i use Permissions ex and in the name of Mods and Admins, not change for example ,I want the name to appear as moderators: Mod [User], the ranges are already in the permissions.yml but do not work in the plugin, why? Help please.

great plugin one of the best ideas ive seen and tested but the problem im having is i have users on my server that dontwant to be apart of thr server and have been given the dyed robes how do i un robe them with out uninstalling the plugin. I hope there is a way that im not seeing, thanks if you can help.

I even redesigned my Hogwarts texture pack to fit around this plugin to go grey on default in the hood, collar and crest, and then when sort it goes to red, green, blue or yellow.

Posted Feb 12, 2014This plugin changes the chat format of my server. You should point that out on your page and make the chat functionality optional in the config, because plugins that mess with the chat can be very annoying especially when there is no format config options, in fact your config is pretty much completely empty. Really need to do some more work on this if you want it to rock.
