HardcoreMC
This is a remake of SMP Hardcore made by awlawlawl. If you die, you are banned.
How to install:
- Put the jar in your plugins folder.
- Restart the server.
- Edit the Config however you would like.
- Restart the server.
Current Commands:
- /hardcore res [player]
- /hardcore slay [player]
- /hardcore info [player]
- /hardcore setpurgatory [player]
Features:
- NEW! Show livedate feature! Can turn livedate when kicked on/off in the config.
- NEW! Banned message customizable!
- NEW! Full permissions support, only ops can use the /hardcore command right now.
- NEW! Exemption permissions, permissions node to exempt a group from being banned when they die.
- Configurable ban time (default is one week)
- Commands for Admins to ban/pardon and get info on dead players (/hardcore)
- Players are told what date and time they will be allowed back when they die and when they try to log back early.
- The plugin logs every death along with level, exp, location and death message in csv format for easy exporting
- Does not have the "dead players hog a login spot" issue.
- Final Farewell: Admins can choose to allow players to live for a short time and chat and say goodbye
- Sound and Fury: Admins can choose to allow a non damaging lightning and thunderclap will go off each time a player dies. Because it would be cool.
Permissions:
- hardcoremc.slay ( gives permission to slay someone else on the server. )
- hardcoremc.info ( lets you get death information about a certain player. )
- hardcoremc.res ( brings a certain player back to life. Unbans them. )
- hardcoremc.exempt ( allows certain groups to be exempt from being banned when they die. )

Edit: Doh stupid request it does that on Hard game mode by default >.<

It resets itself according to when the players dies and how long you have in the config for them to be banned when they die

What about a variable?
i.e: kickmessage=You have died. You will be dead until %date
So ppl who doesn't want/need to show the entire date, may simple remove %date from the kick message :)
Another alternative would be a config option, like: ShowReturnDate=true/false

One final REQ: Is that possible to remove the 'date' from the kick message? I plan to set a default message like: "You're dead, wait 2 minutes to return."

Posted Mar 5, 2012( This is essential for my server! ) Is there anyway you can make a config setting in which we can choose which deaths players will be banned by?
What I want is that players are not banned when they are killed by mobs/suicide but only when they are killed by another player! I only want it so players are banned when they are killed by another player ( just to make it clear ) for my pvp/clans server. It would make clan battles all the more epic.
