GuardOverseer
Do you have a prison server? Ever been annoyed when a guard abuses and gives his items out? Or when a player kills a guard and he drops all his OP guard armor? Then this plugin is for you. This is an advanced, yet lightweight plugin that will make prison server guarding a lot easier. It can be used for prison servers, to play the prison guard role, or just in a RPG server. This is a guard plugin, and a prison guard plugin! Long awaited. I made this guard plugin for my server, as I needed a simple way to keep track of guards. Hope this does the same for you. This plugin uses an auto updater. If you would like to disable this, please open the config and turn the "auto-update" to false.

You must also give your players the kit permission defined in the config.yml. If you don't do this they won't receive a kit. If they have more than one kit permission the kit will be randomly chosen.
- Add a way to format chat for when a player is on duty
- Add a help menu in game

lol. Didn't realize this plugin was this old. Anyhow, this one is for real. I have recoded the entire plugin and this upcoming update has everything people have asked for. I'm submitting the file tomorrow. So expect a download either by tomorrow or Thursday depending how fast the bukkit team approves it!

Posted Feb 27, 2014We have used this plugin on our server, but have stopped using it today because when guards are playing as players, then decide to go on duty and they type /duty to go on guard, then go /duty to go off duty, their normal items are gone and replaced with guard items and armour where they can go sell them, or use them against players when not on duty. This is a big bug that would need to be fixed before we re install this plugin back onto our server. If you could try to fix this, that would be amazing. Thanks

You need to update to a newer version of Bukkit/Spigot - whichever you are using. The version you are using is probably outdated as this is an issue regarding this plugin.
However, /guards does not properly show the list of active duty guards, and there is no reload command. I will be working to try to add these myself, since it doesn't seem as though the author is actively trying to update the plugin.

If you could post the error that you are getting in console that would be great, make sure you are running the latest version. What's wrong with the text when you do /duty? @zackmasterflash I will add this @Larsbarst I will add an ability for unbreakable armor.

Hi, can you add like so if you dont have premission to use /duty, add the text "Sorry, your not a Guard.
Also, its buggy beacuse evreytime i slain someone in duty it come up like errors in the console... Can u also add like so it doesnt come up "Guard Overseer made by ...." Also, fix the text when you do: /duty.
