Grieper
Requires WorldGuard
What Is Grieper?
Grieper's name comes from Grief + Creeper and is a way to stop griefers from using creepers to demolish your beautiful creations.
What Does It Do?
This plugin extends the functionality of WorldGuard to a very limited and specific degree. One thing that annoys me in a MP server is a griefer who is frustrated that they cannot bust up your house or surrounding areas and decides to lure a creeper onto your property. WorldGuard already allows an admin to take away a creepers ability to blow up terrain while still damaging players, but this doesn't seem like a perfect solution to me. This plugin does the same thing, but limits the terrain damage to blocks that a certain player could break.
For example: PlayerA lures a creeper onto PlayerB's property and makes it blow up. If PlayerA was not allowed to build/break on PlayerB's property then the creeper would cause no terrain damage. Say for instance PlayerA and PlayerB had property that butted right up against each other and PlayerB made the creeper blow up right on the property line, then only PlayerB's blocks would be destroyed.
How Does it Work
This works very simply by figuring out who the creeper is following (its target), then checking the build permissions for each block that is supposed to be destroyed in the explosion. It uses WorldGuard to decide whether that player has permission to have broken that block, if they don't it kicks that block out of the block list. Then it broadcasts a message to everyone, letting them know of that player's heinous deeds.
How To Use
Simply download the jar, put it in your plugins folder and either restart the server or use the /reload command. That's it! There is no setup or configuration.
