Introduction & Information
Grief Prevention - Real Estate aims to extend the Grief Prevention plugin by allowing users to be able to buy and sell claims or subclaims. Currently this is one of the biggest requests that are made for this plugin and the author has pointed out that they are concentrating on anti-griefing aspect of GriefPrevention.

New maintainer
The project is now being managed, updated and supported by me, GuyB790. I'm releasing a quick hotfix to fix the subclaim buying bug right now. If you witness any bug, feel free to open a ticket regarding it. I'll rewrite the whole documentation about the plugin today.
I would like to thank SuperPyroManiac for letting me taking over the project and continue updating its potential. Without him, the project would remain at the old versions of GriefPrevention and wouldn't be updated to work at all. Special thanks to the original creator who started all of this: leezallen.

History
The plugin has been originally created by leezallen back long time ago. The project has been abandoned and revived by SuperPyroManiac which has configured it to work with the current version of GriefPrevention and made it available again for popular and further versions. It is now being maintained & supported by GuyB790.

Permission List
- gprealestate.* - Give you permission to all the permissions.
- gprealestate.buy - Ability to buy a claim (not a subclaim).
- gprealestate.sell - Ability to sell a claim (not a subclaim).
- gprealestate.adminclaim - Ability to buy/sell an admin claim (basically an admin permission).
- gprealestate.sellsub - Ability to sell sub claims.
- gprealestate.buysub - Ability to buy sub claims.
NOTE: I am aware of the issue that the permissions has with the confusion of what's admin and what's not - it will be all sorted out in version 1.5 which is being worked on at the moment.

When you buy a claim, it completely gives all the permissions to the person who bought it. So it's already in there?

Currently no, but I have been thinking about ways I could add this, without having to redo the plugin and break signs made with old version.

I could look into this, looks like I could just run that marker command when the RE signs are created, and remove the marker when they are sold or destroyed.
No there is no database. Basically it checks every time someone right clicks a sign if it has [re] or [realestate] then it checks the other lines and does the thing it needs to do.

Posted Feb 27, 2014HI, I'm trying to figure out the best way to create an economy on my server, and I am using GriefPrevention to subdivide plots in Admin claims (so I can set stores around the spawn). But I'm got an issue I am confused on how to settle.
So I'm using RealEstate to Lease Plots, but is there no way to make it so there is a Timer, or an upkeep to keep the shop going?
For example, I want to put a shop up and have it for 10days. After 10days, the plot goes back to the Admins control (or whoever sold/leased the plot).
Or if I am leasing the plot, the upkeep every day to every week is ...lets just say 10,000$.
Is there any plugins that do this or does RealEstate do it and I'm just not aware of it? Thanks for reading!

As in Icons on the map, they can be organised into groups, so a group could be created called "For sale" or something, to show all the plots that are currently up for sale direct on a live map, go to my website (footer) and look at the map, I have a marker for my spawn and "The Cove" and a donator island.
Also is a database of claims for sale kept? If so, could you implement a way to run a command to list claims for sale?

I'm sorry, what do you mean by show up as markers? And for the idea of renting subclaims, it is a possibility I may add in the future, but don't get your hopes up. I have had ideas on how I could do it though, so there is still a chance I may add it.

I know there are some plugins that use items as currency. this just connects to vault, then vault looks for the plugin that manages your currency. So this isn't something I would do with GPRealEstate.

Posted Jan 21, 2014I like the plugin and so far the players on my server do too. The only thing they are asking is if we can use items instead of the currency.
