Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Tux hasn't worked on the project in a little more than a year now. What issue are you referring to?
@ridddle
I was under the impression that 1.8.3 was bug fixes only. Is there anything not mentioned here that you feel should be addressed by GP? http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/1.8.3
@Bobcat00
Shit! Damn spigot team and their breaking changes! This is the third time - armor stands, sticky pistons, and now this. Can't they at least send plugin devs a message when they break stuff? So angry. I'll put this on top of my todo list.
@fungreenfox
What's the warning you're getting?
@The_PC_Tech_Guy
Ah, now I follow. Let me ponder on that a bit. It's not easy to do, but maybe I'll do it anyway.
@prolifegaming8
Unless you turned it off in the config, players get 100 claim blocks per hour played. You can read how to customize this on the setup/config page.

Regarding preventing natural grief - TNT, creeper detonations above sea level, "tree grief," etc. in a world that does not use GriefPrevention claims (mode: disabled)
http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/grief-prevention/?comment=8510 was your response to me asking about BlockSurfaceCreeperExplosions not functioning on worlds that have griefprevention claiming disabled.
My response to your response:
(Perhaps tickets would be easier for these sorts of conversations :P)

Posted Apr 5, 2015@chris_61: containertrust on the claim lets players interact with containers of any kind (not only chests) and also levers and buttons.
So I would create subclaims on the admin claim where I want people to have access to and then /containertrust public on these subclaims to allow container access on these subclaims only.

@GodsDead
I want to make you aware of a change the Spigots folks did on March 22 in regards to explosions. Some explosions that used to fire EntityExplodeEvent now fire BlockExplodeEvent instead. So if you're listening only for EntityExplodeEvent, you won't catch all explosions. See https://hub.spigotmc.org/stash/projects/SPIGOT/repos/craftbukkit/commits/e387d8dc7752a7f03e6baa1dadaf66ec2e7e3512

The easiest way would be to test by installing http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/cannons/ on your test server, Its ready to go by itself, Or I could demo it on my live server if you wish. This is now a vulnerability for any plugin that creates damage, It must have been something you changed recently as before the update to 11.2.1 claims were protected, now there open to be destroyed making grief-prevention useless!
On very old version of GP (7.8 era) it was a config option called other-explosion, or something similar, Otherexplosiondamage or something.
Edit: I noticed that TNT was not working outside of claims, no damage so I turned on BlockLandClaimExplosions: true, not only did this turn on tnt working, but it destroys claims too, maybe this is your problem, you have enabled global TNT damage to all claims?

Posted Apr 4, 2015Had to say, great plugin you've got here. Just my small plugins have been quite a feat to me to make and debug, can't imagine what went into this. In the config setup: excellent documentation and explanation. xD I can't believe I made it through the whole thing, but most other people would have made it boring and impossible to read.

Please take a few moments to vote for Grief Prevention. :) Thanks for your support! http://www.spigotmc.org/resources/griefprevention.1884/
@GodsDead
Please explain - what are the steps, and can you get it to work with TNT for example? Referring to that previous bug report, I remember I was unable to reproduce it as described using cannons and all.
@Drtro
The default is that land claims are pvp safe zones, but you can change that in the config if you like. You can also make it so that only admin claims are safe zones, or flip it so that admin claims aren't safe but player claims are, or that there are no safe zones at all (from GP).
@The_PC_Tech_Guy
Can you explain a little more? I'm sorry but I think I forgot the context of this conversation. :\
@Ragnorok98
Are you running the 1.8 version of WorldGuard? I remember when I downloaded it, I had to look pretty hard to get the right one. GP versions made for 1.8 need 1.8 WorldGuard. I don't really understand this problem, either - it would seem that GP sees WG, but at some point it fails to talk to WG. I don't know why this would happen only sometimes for you if there were a problem with GP or with WG? :(
@raum
Please explain some more. What exactly is the error message you're getting? You say /givepet doesn't work - is the player using /givepet the player mentioned in the error message? What do you do that causes the error message to appear - right clicking, attacking, shooting a bow...?

Posted Apr 3, 2015There is a major bug in your latest version, Other Explosions cause damage to claimed areas. We have had this issue before with a previous release. As a demonstration we use a Cannons plugin to shoot projectiles, Claims were protected before updating now they destroy claimed land/buildings.
Secondly, /sellclaimblocks is broken in the way, players can use it for infinite money, Previous comments & tickets, PM's state the details.
Thank you.

Posted Apr 1, 2015I just thought of an idea regarding using GriefPrevention's anti-natural grief while disabling land claiming - just add another option for the mode node (where you put Creative, Survival, Disabled, etc.)
