Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Is the claimed land protection extends all the way up the sky or it can be configured on the config?

Ah, thanks for that. I should probably do more digging on these matters before posting. While I agree that people shouldn't be able to pour lava on each other, it would be nice if I could at least set the amount a player must be away. I'm just thinking of cities / towns. We there's lots of people around, and someone might afk near someone's house who wants to pour lava. Or if there's an apartment and someone wants a lava "thing" in their rent space, but a player would be easily 15 blocks in range.
In the config I would think it would look something like this (15 being default):
lava-range: 15
Don't get me wrong, This isn't meant to be complaining,I love this plugin, and wouldn't run my server without it, I just like having options on things like that is all. Feel free to say "no". Haha. I was just giving some input is all. :P

Make sure you're on the newest version. Some previous versions had this problem.

For the first, assign permission "griefprevention.lava" to all players. This will effectively disable it, but will result in lots of lava for you to clean up (griefers).
For the second, no. Do you really want players dumping lava on each other? That's what griefers will do if you disable this.
@Jukkatibbs
Ha, nice profile picture. :) Click the administrative details link above to find the permission nodes list.

Posted Mar 15, 2012- Lava is now restricted to either in your claim or underground.
- Lava may not be placed within 15 blocks of another player.
Is it possible for you to allow a 'true' or 'false' setting for both of these in the config? Would be much appreciated.

Posted Mar 14, 2012@bigscary so you'll dont want to add that feature?? Or maybe make an api for your plugin that another plugin developer can develop the feature with buy and selling from claims.

There's not an integrated feature for buying/selling. But you could charge a fee for someone to have a certain privilege level, and use your economy's slash command to transfer the funds. For example:

no you cant sell,trade,swap claims
this is a griefer protection plugin, not real-state
the only way you can "swap" a claim is if you access to the greifprevention data files

@Seweiwer
Check logs for version. Suck it up on /reload, you shouldn't need it often anyway. Localizability is a huge maybe, and low priority.

Example: When you hold the golden shovel, you get a message, when you place a chest and so on.
I want to translate them, but I haven't found any option or file to do that. And my question was if you could implant something like a file where you can change these messages.

Sorry, I don't understand your request. Could you rephrase it? What do you mean by "change the shown messages"?
