Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

I delete the claim data folder and that did the trick, though we're still in the testing stages of the server, so I don't know if it would have a negative impact on people's number of claim blocks.

Posted Feb 28, 2013String doesn't seem to work for showing claims, it just gets placed.
Also, any way to make subclaims more restrictive than the top claim? Like say I want a main claim to have trust all (so it can't be randomly claimed by anyone) but subclaims have trust only to specific individuals.

Yes. In the config file, just remove the world from the world list. This should deactivate it in those worlds.
However about the claim that might already be there, well, that's manually removal.

Posted Feb 28, 2013I'll be sure to donate once my server is going well and I have extra money :D
Also, is there a walk through of the config? Most of it is self explanatory, but some of it is confusing.

Is it possible to disable GriefPrevention in a specific world? For example my server has a skyblock world but there is no need GriefPrevention there because it is already protected and I'm sure people won't want having to use 2 commands to let people on their island, or have client side gold blocks flying around taking up precious space on their island. I only want it to work in the overworld, nether, end, etc.

Those are actually the internal names that bukkit uses. Try doing /give (yourname) WOOD
@CoLT40FiiVe
You would have to create a claim around the chest. If you want to protect individual blocks as well (chests while you're mining), then yes, you would have to run another plugin like LWC with it.
@Huskydog223
Just add the world names to the config file.
@LEOcab
I'll see if I can implement the reload command cleanly. There's quit a few things that have to get checked in a plugin of this size.
@typhoonwes
I'm sorry, the transfer came at a bad time for me when I'm in the middle of trying to move out of one place and into another. Also, the amount of comments per day is just too much when you're in the middle of something like that.
@carneymaster11
BukkitForge has quite a few known bugs. I would bring this issue up with the author of BukkitForge as it's most likely his implementation of something.

Posted Feb 27, 2013Ill try asking again. We have this plugin on our server, but every time we try and make claims it keeps trying to make a claim as if the first corner we would have selected as being 0,0. If you are to far from 0,0 you require thousands and thousands of claim blocks. I have pulled up no information on this other than one guy who had this but nothing else. other than my own posts. Some kind of recognition would help. This is a tekkit lite server, but the owner is being kinda sluggish about it and has so far written off the above part about tekkit lite servers needing to use that step by step part. any help around this?

Posted Feb 26, 2013I was just wondering if this can protect individual blocks as well? Say I'm out from my claim in a cave or something. Can I make a protected chest or do I have to go home to store my stuff, or should i just run lwc alongside this?
ALso, is there a way to enable pvp only below sea level, like tnt?

Posted Feb 26, 2013Another question: where can we get a list of block names for use in the config, for example under GriefPrevention.Siege.BreakableBlocks? I'm okay with the default list of blocks but I don't know if "WOOD" means logs or planks and several players have asked me that already. :P
