Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Posted Feb 22, 2015Could shearing sheep become a lower level of trust, accesstrust perhaps? I have users that want to host public sheep farms with all colors, but between people breeding them (causing ChunkSpawnLimiter to kill off a colour) and others killing, it quickly becomes unmanageable.

Posted Feb 22, 2015Hi guys, I need to desactivate the players from claiming in a world... I know I can desactivate the whole plugin for some worlds, but I down't want that. I want the pick-up protection, the log-off kill, etc. But I dont want the players claim regions in that world (it's a hardcore pvp). Help?

Posted Feb 21, 2015Hi, I just put this on my server and have been very happy with it, until someone showed me that you can jumpblock up and hop walls by using the lag in between the server and the game to your advantage. Could you please fix this, preferably by doing something like what WorldGuard did by resetting your position every time you try to place a block in a region you don't have permissions for?
Thanks! - Bike

Posted Feb 21, 2015Is there a way to disable the automatic messages regarding getting stuck/how to claim land? I'm using a different plugin for land claims, so these commands are ineffective.

Thank you.
I looked through all the documentation but could not find any mention of groups, took a wild stab by trying a permission node which worked! Thanks, maybe add that to the docs?

Posted Feb 20, 2015Hey @bigscary can I suggest being able to breed horses if you build have trust in their claim? This would allow claim trustees to maintain stables and make more horses, trying to get perfect stats without taking horse owner’s time.
Oh and can you please not eat up Ender Pearls forever when they can’t be used? I would think the item could disappear from client-side inventory and be returned on inventory update (what happens with liquids in some other protection plugins or older builds of GP)?

Instead of trying to separate commands with a comma, use the big green "ADD" button to add additional commands to be executed to your package.

What version of Minecraft are you on, and which version of GriefPrevention did you install? Is this your first plugin installation, or do you have others already? Will you please share your config.yml file from the GriefPreventionData folder?

Posted Feb 19, 2015@RedFox249: why you don't enter one command per line in Buycraft? Never heard that a comma works there to seperate commands.
You need to enter one command after another in buycraft (if they did not change this).
They earn money from people where 2 commands at once is not enough...so I don't think you can build a command chain.

Posted Feb 19, 2015Hi bigscary. I first off wanted to say that I love GriefPrevention. I heard somewhere that you can use it in your servers donations stores, but I was having a bit of trouble with it. So basically what I wanted to do was when a player bought a rank, they also got X amount of land claim blocks. I'm using BuyCraft as my server store btw. So what I did was in the command box I typed in manuadd {NAME} (GROUPNAME), and then my world. Then I added a comma and typed in adjustbonusclaimblocks {NAME} 7000, and then my world. So my entire command sequence looked like this: manuadd {NAME} Designer cmpflat, adjustbonusclaimblocks {NAME} 7000 cmpflat. When I tested out the rank, it didn't work. It seemed that adding adjustbonusclaimblocks right after the manaudd command de-activated it, so I didn't get any of my ranks or perks. I sent in a support ticket to BuyCraft a while ago, but they have yet to respond, so I was wondering if you could help me with what my command sequence should look like and how to set it up so players get an additional amount of claim blocks when they purchase my rank. Thanks :)

If a player wont tell you how he is exploiting this bug, then ban him. That's what I do, and reward players who inform me of any bug/glitches that can be reproduced.

Should work just fine in Bungee setup. GP uses the player UUIDs they connect with, so as long as those don't change (I guess they don't in Bungee?) everything should be fine. I don't personally run a Bungee server. I do know that some Bungee servers are running this plugin, and there haven't been any bug reports that were resolve as not fixable.
@GodsDead
That's a very strange issue - any interesting log entries during that time? I'd hope there would be an exception and stack trace to help me know where to start looking.
