Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Actually, I think I know what might be the problem. I deleted a world, which has claims in it and at the same time I upgraded Grief Prevention; the default config has a lower max allotment of claim blocks than I had originally set.
Say a player had accumulated 5800 claim blocks and the limit was suddenly changed to 5000. What would happen?
Question: Is there a way to delete claims from a deleted world? Or does deleting a world automagically delete those claims (not count them agains your claim block allotment).

This has happened to me, also. Every time I start up the server, it prints the following for every claim: "This owner entry is not a UUID: <player>", then converts it to an admin claim.
EDIT: I tried restoring the dbase to before GP performed the UUID conversions, no change.

Posted Jan 24, 2015My server crashed due to a memory leak and when I reloaded, all the claims are claimed by the administrator, not the user. Is there any way to recover this?! The user files are empty (no uuids)

Posted Jan 24, 2015Is there documentation on /givepet? Sometimes it works and sometimes when it tells you to right click your pet, it just makes them sit/stand. There are no errors in the console, it just doesn't transfer the pet or say anything.

Is there a way for a player who has made a basic claim,
and uses /pt for another player to create a subclaim?
As the description says "Grants a player permission to share his permission level with others"
and the permissions that a basic claim creator has is creating sub claims

Posted Jan 23, 2015Hi, i've enconterd a bug when using this plugin together with "Buildcraft" (google it) the quarry that mines for you can not mine blocks that are protected. idk if you can do anything about this but i'm posting this here anyway, Reason chould be that the quarry does not tell the server who placed it.

Posted Jan 22, 2015Potions that are non-harming potions can be used inside claims. With new potion of leaping, mobs can be coaxed into leaping over fences. Specifically I tested this with rabbits, potion of leaping, and using a carrot to coax the rabbits out of a claimed farm.

Can't do it - didn't think names could include spaces? This is the first time anyone has brought it up.
@fatdog66
Is your server Minecraft 1.8? Do you mean to say that jumping on soil turns it into dirt?

Posted Jan 21, 2015I have a little "issue / problem" i'm making a Online Multiplayer world for a Survival server, and at the spawn point i setup a big house, which is claimed by admin a 100*100 square.
I thought id put some "helping" items in here for new players, but i cant seem to get one thing to work, I've placed down a bunch of furnaces, but i cant seem to get players to use them i have tried both /at and /ct public, but neither of them works which i found strange. and i don't wanna add Trust cause then griefers would be able to "destroy" the spawn.
I'm guessing its a config file to edit but i haven't found anything so far so id thought id ask for help here as well.
Kind Regards
CorrupT
