Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

This duplication problem is unique to Mcmmo as far as I know. I don't think there's anything I can do about it on my end, but I'll look into it. Maybe if I set my event handler priority very high, mine will cancel the event before his code runs.
@PacketCollision
I'm very glad you like the plugin. Help me understand your scenario? Why do you want players to not have control over buttons/switches only in some worlds but not others?

Posted Mar 22, 2012I'd really appreciate being able to enable/disable PreventButtonsSwitches on a per-world basis. This looks great otherwise; I always appreciate a well-done plugin that requires little in the way of configuration, and even more so for one that doesn't require players to learn a bunch of obtuse commands.

Yep. Also if you create a claim on the surface and then dig down to bedrock, the claim will extend downward as you dig.
@icemaster73
There's a fix for lava coming soon.
@xBladeM6x
The problem might be that no one has really tried it.

im kind of confuse on how the protection works.
so if i protect by house everything on top is protected starting from the block i left and right click on, what happen if the person go all the way down to the bedrock and start protecting from there will everything on top be also protection?

Ah, alright. No problem. Also if there's no feedback on siege, then chances are that there's no problems with it. You should know by know by now, people complain and bring attention to what's wrong with something, not what's right with it. :P

You'll have to use another plugin, overlapping your admin claim with a world guard region or a residence or something, and set the flags that way.
@xBladeM6x
Sorry about that lava thing not getting in last night, I ran out of time. Before I knew it it was time to hit the sack. I'm trying to finish out the feature set... it's getting really close now and folks are yelling for source code.
The restore nature update is a big deal though. Lots of complicated code and testing will be involved in that feature. Plus, I have zero feedback about siege so far.
@cvxx7q
Easier to use the /trust command than to go find the right tool in your chest, I think. Besides imagine the accidental trusting problem.. yikes. And /trust can be used from anywhere, and even on an offline player. Using an item would involve meeting up. Anyway we even have a single letter alias /t.

Also, version 2.9 = win. Did you mess with the lava thing in this version, or is that the next? (Not being pushy, just asking since you said "in the next version")

perhaps a trust tool, like using a stick (over used i know) or blaze rod or something inert like a slimeball,
Player A makes claim
Player B stands within claim
Player A uses slime_ball (right-click) on Player B
Player B is now trusted in the claim he is standing within
-
to untrust, use the /command or repeat the above
--EDIT: keep the /command and think of using the trust item like command aliasing, a quicker way ;)

this is a player/griefer control plugin, not an anti-mob plugin, so bearing that in mind, disabling mobs is not in the plugins interest, adding this feature is alot more work than you *may* think, also it has been suggested and rejected already
perhaps there is an alternative you can use, or just over lap those claims if need be, but those are more likely than anti-mob being added
TL:DR
this has been suggested before, it's not in the projects interest, more work than its worth, sorry

Posted Mar 21, 2012I would like to see an option to turn off mob spawning within a claim. Like just an option in the confg. We have our spawn claimed and buildings around it with the admin claim but mobs spawn everywhere and I don't want to overlap with safe zones from Factions that I use on our other world.
Thank you and keep up the good work! =D

I agree with that. I have chat scrolling really fast. However I like how you condensed it. If you could even list it in 1-2 lines, that'd be great and detailed enough. Res goes overkill with a page of text, I can attest :P but yea some info, any info on who is trusted would be great. I might for instance accidentally spell their name wrong :/

i would suggest he update to 2.9 then re-confirm his issue ;)
it looks like he was getting the same error as when we started using GP on 1.2 before you updated, nothing game breaking
