Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Posted Oct 3, 2014bigscary, Just for info only:
Though I run a small Bungee network, I bit the Bullet, and added 8.1.8.
Conversion ran without hiccup, took about 15 mins, and, no issues to report sofar. All claims intact, and UUID conversion successful.

Posted Oct 3, 2014Hey all, I'm getting to a point where the performance metrics collected by Bukkit/Spigot aren't detailed enough. Can anyone recommend a good Java app profiler, preferably one I can easily attach to a running process?

Actually I want to fix the tree problem - will you please share a screenshot of the before and after "mess" you're talking about? I think this has to do with new types of trees which were introduced while I wasn't working on the plugin.

You could add their block IDs to the ids requiring container trust list in the config file.

Posted Oct 2, 2014Fantastic plugin with only a single problem from what I've seen so far.
The /restorenature command will mess with any trees. I know it's unavoidable, but I'd like to applaud the devs on a job well done. The plugin is a work of art, and if messed up trees are my biggest worry then boy do I have it easy. :P

Posted Oct 2, 2014Is it possible to toggle this:
Blocks which don't have a persistent inventory (crafting table, enchanting table, anvil...) no longer require permission to use in a land claim.

I don't think you'll need a reset - the new option will just appear after you /reload or reboot. No need to delete the file.

Any chance you'll share the full report? :) Also did you run with the new piston rule, or update your config to disable it?

GP will do the data conversion for you, but you'll probably have to configure your settings again because Sponge will not use YML config files.

http://timings.aikar.co/?url=8480204 I have no 24 hour report but the TPS are dropping down to 10 while players are building in claimed areas etc. I just downgraded back to an older version and take the 10 minute startup instead of a laggy server.
