Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

I don't have any problem with the lighter and players can use flint and steel in their claimed areas. probably world guard is not letting them to use it. then type /region f global lighter allow

Posted May 26, 2014I really like the ability to have a configuration for each world, but it's, well not complicated so much as obnoxiously long. In addition to this, the configurations aren't working properly. For example, TNT does not do block damage under (or above, for that matter) the specified sea level, even though TNT block damage is enabled in the config and sea level is set to 64. Using /gpreload and straight up restarting the server doesn't help.
For the 1.8 builds of Grief Prevention, I'd love to see simpler (and properly working) world configs, with options similar to the server-wide configuration options available pre-7.8, plus a few post-7.7 options like the ability to enable/disable block breaking and placement in certain worlds.

Posted May 26, 2014Great plugin! But I have a problem with my MCPC+ server this plugin doesn't let you interact with NPCs from the mod MCA (Minecraft Comes Alive), someone can help me?
EDIT: nvmd, I found that they only interact on your claim, Only now I have to know how the dataconfig.yml file works to enable the trade.

as for Siege, never used Siege features, I thought they were kinda doucheé :b

Jenkins is a site where Development builds of GriefPrevention are published. just make sure you download the last STABLE build from there.
Staff edit: CI server link without disclaimer
The last build was compiled a little over a month ago.

No idea what Jenkins build is. Care to elaborate?
Currently I just use Bukkit along with GP, Population Density, anti x-ray and nocheatplus among a few other lightweight plugins for the mods to help ensure fair play

Posted May 23, 2014We need to be able to turn off this frustrating new spam system, The repeat system, No caps No URLS is so frustrating, and hinders gameplay not improve it.
Siege needs to allow attackers to still be able to break blocks in the cooldown period after they win. Here is my ticket for this that I posted 2 months ago: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/grief-prevention/tickets/622-block-control-for-siege-looting-time

Posted May 23, 2014@hixon1998 You can give players a permission node for that, I think it was griefprevention.water something :)
Then you need to edit world config to allow for placing water outside claims.
