Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Posted May 22, 2014Would it be possible to add endercrystals to the list of protected entities? with a flag to turn off protection if needed? They look great in server builds but explode at a touch.

Posted May 22, 2014Is this plugin ever going to update?...Cause lately it seems it's been abandoned.
I need a protection plugin for my server to help people with their builds and such but Grief Prevention has more or less...gone to shit. That being said, are there even any rumors the devs are still alive? Are they still working on it?
If anyone knows any other protection plugins that are similar please, please, PLEASE, let me know. I'd love nothing better to have this plugin work and be easy to use like it was but with that seeming like an impossibility, the next best thing is to hope for a new, better plugin to come around

Posted May 21, 2014hello,
sorry if this is stupid but is there any way to let players place water in unclaimed land? I know in older versions it was in the config file but there is nothing there now.
Thanks!

in does NOT change the "accrued per hour". if you do "/adjustbonusclaimblocks [name] 1000" it simply gives that player 1000 claimblocks, nothing more. he still gets the same number of claimblocks an hour.

Go to your essentials config and put /ignore in the command override list. this will make Essentials take priority over Griefprevention when players use /ignore

Its a messy config sure, but if you want GriefPrevention to leave alone PVP, just go to the Worlds folder, select your world and set everything related to pvp to false. Then you should be good :)

as plugin you just have one way to deal with pvp allow it (restricted) or not at all. if you want to use pvp you have to let griefprevention allow pvp everywhere and then restrict it with your pvpmanager.

easy temp fix i found it to edit the plugin.yml inside the griefprevention jar and take out the ignore command (as the program does not use this command any more)

Posted May 19, 2014does /AdjustBonusClaimBlocks increase their accrued per hour? or simply give them say 20 extra blocks?
so say I do /acb NAME 20 do they just get 20 blocks to use? or does their accrued per hour change to 20?

Posted May 17, 2014Hey,
Is there any way to trust all players on the server? Such as a /trust * or /trust all command? Is there any way to configure this? Mostly for /at * because for massive selections and a lot of players, typing every name is a hassle.
Thanks
