Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Yeah, that makes sense, but for me, personally, this can be quite annoying. Anyway, uhh I don't quit understand what you mean. "WorldConfig"? There's a config.yml file. In that file I see EavesDropEnabled under Economy but it is set to false. Any help?

Go into the WorldConfigs and in the Eavesdrop section of each world file put 'Signs: false' I personally really like this feature - the whole idea is that if someone puts down a sign reading "Ha lol I griefed you" you can give a quick response ;)

Posted Feb 15, 2014Hi, I recently changed plugins on my server. I decided to use GriefPrevention instead for a land claiming plugin. This plugin is really good, and the players like it, but there's one minor issue that is an annoyance to the server administrators. Whenever someone places a sign it says <playerName(Sign): <sign Message>. In the console it comes up as "[Server] INFO GriefPrevention: [Sign Placement]". How do I disable this "Sign Placement" thing? It's really annoying when a bunch of players are on and use signs and the server admins and I see the message in chat. How do I disable this if there is a way?

Posted Feb 15, 2014In the main config should be a list of enabled worlds so whenever a staff creates a new world (Multiverse) it doesn't bother that world because it's quite annoying. :(

Posted Feb 15, 2014Hi, great plugin our users really took to it, There is just one question.
Is there anyway to stop people claiming an area that is already protected with WorldGuard?

Obviously...
There is no way to integrate them together however.
You'll need to set the perms that you want people to have for factions and claiming and or manage what claiming with factions actually does if you're going to be using factions with this plugin.

That change appears to be a step in the correct direction but I still have many markers that are appearing one block under a block, particularly grass blocks, instead of at the surface. My point of reference is simply how it worked in the past when I don't recall having any issue with the marker blocks appearing as the first block that wasn't "air" when looking down from above.

Thanks!

They aren't "buried". I was unable to reproduce the problem as it was (all the claims I made still appeared fine). I was able to reproduce it only when I created underground holes in the area.
I completely redid some of the visualization stuff so it should mark any change from a transparent to a solid block appropriately. (This also means it should make more sense when in a cave or large underground cavern- or the nether) (EDIT: to be clear this was a change I made maybe 30 minutes ago)

Hmmm, can you see it if you go to http : tardis1.tinygrab.com/grabs/714a82deba8146ffdfda60a8c97bb695934b180759.png
Perhaps the link functionality is not allowed here. It's appearing for me in my post and this link is valid.
Anyhow, it's also happening with grass blocks for me. But it does display in cobble, at least on one of my player's claims. But if I shift-right click with the stick tool (which should show all claims in an area around the click point) they are nearly if not all "buried".
Having players dig is clearly not practical. I also believe on a server or plug-in reload the blocks simply shift "one under" the surface block again. So even if you dig down, it disappears again on reload.

Posted Feb 13, 2014Your screenshot is showing as a broken link. Yes, it appears to be the same one.
I was hoping naming specific blocks would help; I can go through block by block and provide a list of itemIDs if that helps. It works fine for me on the standard blocks like grass, stone, and cobble; however, things like shift+right clicking on workbenches, others, and all of quartz does not work. I don't see the point of forcing my players to dig to check claim borders with the inspection tool.
We use Craftbukkit 1.7.2-R0.3 #03022 Developmental Build but it's been happening for awhile now; I just got around to posting something.
