Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

No that has nothing to do with land claim or protecting the map so I highly doubt it will be added either.

/trapped doesn't change permiussions in a claim.
@Sargewood
Yeah this was a residue from the same bug that was occuring that I thought was impossible. What I missed was I was reassigning a value and then trying to use the old value.
This should be fixed. It also shows the remaining claim blocks of the player who's claim is being resized or how many are needed (if an attempt is made to resize it too large).

Posted Sep 11, 2013Is the command /trapped caused by this plugin? Because people can do /trapped, and then they have permission to build/destroy/look in chests in a claim! So if it's this plugin, what is the permission node from that command? If it isn't this plugin, do you know which plugin it can be?

Posted Sep 11, 2013Testing 171 I found that I am unable to resize other players claims. I can resize admin claims fine and my own personal claims. BTW, I love the change to emerald blocks for admin claims.

Each "world" has it its own config file you can disable whatever functionality you dont want there. Under the lines enable: true/false. Unless you simply dont want the program at all on any more then you have to remove the .jar file.

Posted Sep 10, 2013Is there any chance of an option to tie into the SimpleClans API? Basically something along the lines of claiming for a clan rather than player. Or, a command such as /containertrust [clantag]. This plugin is flawless aside from not having inclusion and/or a system to integrate a clans plugin.
If not that's fine, you guys rock anyways, thanks for the hard work. :)

Posted Sep 10, 2013@BC_Programming Hi, wasn't sure where to report this. I'm getting this NPE with playerInteract on build 171. I started with a clean config from 7.7 (Kept data though). I get this if I /ignoreclaim and try to expand someones plot for them. If I expand my own plot, or if a user expands the plot this does not occur.
TL;DR: If an administrator (Ie: Op) attempts to expand a claim of another it gives the inital "Resizing claim" message but on the second use of the shovel (To set the new size) playerInteract fails with an NPE.

I cannot duplicate this. When I attempt to abandon a claim that is not mine (#171 I think it is now) it says "This is not your claim".

Posted Sep 9, 2013Hey Snoogles here.. found a HUGE bug not sure if its newly introduced or old and not noticed.
Okay we have confirmed multiple times now that /abandonclaim requires no permission of the claim of any claim. This obviously means that players can simply abandon a claim and take what they want. We did notice that sometimes you have to move off the claim then back on and try /abandonclaim again anybody can abandon ANY claim from ANYBODY regardless of the /trus permissions.
We learned this when a new player got on and started abandoning all the claims around a portal. We tested it multiple time and as i mentioned above, sometimes it takes a second try but for sure a random player can abandon ANYBODIES claims.
Steps:
Make claim
Set NO trust commands (only owner)
Any player stand in claim types /abandonclaim
Claim is removed
To combat this we have turned off the ability to abandon claims. Which of course is not feasible but at least will stop the issues. This is tested and confirmed in build #169. Let me know if I can help in any way.
Thanks,
_snoogles_

The problem is that there are many many plugins that have home commands. It's not a Bukkit feature, it's a feature of Essentials and many others. However, pretty much all home commands make use of teleporting, and teleporting IS a feature of Bukkit. With GriefPreventionFlags you can block teleporting into a claim except for those you add to the trust list.

Posted Sep 9, 2013Is there an option to disallow people to /sethome inside claims? This has become a problem on my server where users will set a home and teleport back to it later when the user is offline and raid that user, bypassing all claims.
