Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

You're using 7.7 or an older dev build.
This was fixed in early may.
this was fixed a few days ago. You can always edit messages.yml yourself to fix these issues most of the time.
1.6 features are fully implemented in the development builds, including leads/leashes.

Rollback to a previous build. My development time has been monopolized by research and similar tasks due to an employment oppurtunity, so I haven't been able to work on GP as much.
I am in the process of reworking some of the dataStorage facilities though for better configurability. as well as future extensibility. the entire MySQL handling code probably needs to be rethought, since it's unusably slow when you get past a certain number of claims.

Also, you should probably fix the spelling mistake here: http://prntscr.com/1iyssd
Another spelling mistake here: http://prntscr.com/1iyugt
Also, please remember to disallowed untrusted players from taking away mobs with a leash (lead)!

Posted Aug 1, 2013Just wanted to say I Love the new per-world configs...being able to tweak things to my hearts desire is awesome. Can you add another tweak that checks is a person can throw chicken eggs based on whether they have trust on the target area similar to the Ender Pearl config option? I wanted to add another plugin called MobCatcher but it would allow people to steal animals on claims, but if i could disable Egg throwing on a claim that you don't have permission on then this would eliminate the problem! Thanks Again for the Awesome Plugin. Using latest dev on Spigot build 1049 with no issues so far!

Posted Aug 1, 2013Does this plugin block default groups from using flint and steel? I am messing with plugins and I'm suspecting it was this plugin causing the problem. If so can someone respond telling me how to toggle it.

what dev version currently works for 1.5.2? im using ftb 1.5.2 and so far i have not found a working version, {all versions load fine but when you try to build it tells you that you need to make a claim first, even tho in the config that is set to false, also claims get deleted on restarts, And the ecnomy module does not laod on the configs i cant sell claim blocks and i also do not see any options to change the starting claims players start with}

I scrolled up a bit and found this but it still doesn't look complete.http://pastebin.com/wTyLNkzD It started happening about 25 minutes after my server was up and it sometimes helped if players relogged but not for /abandonclaim. Everything seemed to be working after a restart and there hasn't been a problem since which is even more confusing.

Not yet, Sorry :( It's hard-coded currently, but I'm already aware it totally needs a config option :)

I cannot reproduce this. Creating, resizing, and abandoning claims works as intended for me. Would it be possible to get a more full stacktrace? The one you provided appears to omit the GP stack for the error.
@dominik246 Assuming you are using a dev build, this is in the world configuration under GriefPrevention.ProtectPlayersInLandClaims.PlayerOwnedClaims and GriefPrevention.ProtectPlayersInLandClaims.AdministrativeClaims configuration nodes. I believe GPFlags has even better claim-specific support for this capability.

Posted Jul 30, 2013Players are unable to resize, abandon, or create claims in build 148.
Shovel is doing nothing and this shows in the console. http://pastebin.com/9p43sK5n
Typing /abandonclaim inside your claim just says "Stand in the claim your want to delete, or consider /abandonallclaims"

Lately I have been having this problem a lot too, there seems to be nothing special apppearing in the log, though I might have missed it.
I have tried with both flatfile storage, which seems to disappear almost every time the server is restarted or the configs are reloaded.
Now i have MySQL which only seems to remove the claims every once in a while, this is however still not very stable.
Would have given you and error log, but sadly i can't find anything at all.
I'm on mcpc+ if it's any help in tracking down the problem.
