Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Posted Jul 15, 2013Using #130, players are unable to resize claims. After clicking the corner and trying to set a new point, it says the claim must be 8x8. When you go out far enough, it says the claim would overlap as if it's trying to create a new claim inside the existing claim.
It seems like /transferclaim isn't working at all. I'm trying to transfer a claim to player2 from player1. Doing /transferclaim player2 and /transferclaim player1 player2 both result in "Use /transferclaim again to make this claim an admin claim" (sometimes requires typing it two times for it to show) /transferclaim by itself does the same message and typing it again doesn't make it an admin claim either.
Lastly, is there any negative effect when using http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/pm-pluginmanager/ to unload and load a new version of this plugin?

OK, that's a bit more specific so I can test it. I originally just tested walking into claims on a horse, which did not automatically dismount me.
Further testing, and I am able to get off a horse and get back on inside other claims, too. I can use leads to lead the horse into the claim.
However, I did find that with Leads you cannot lead a horse you own in another claim, nor disconnect the lead you are using.
@2coolforu22
change the GriefPrevention.Rules.WoodenDoors and GriefPreventions.Rules.TrapDoors nodes touse the desired access rules in your world configuration.

Posted Jul 14, 2013Basically the bug is if you (accidentally) ride your horse into someone else's claim, you can't get back on it because it says the claim owner owns it. I haven't actually confirmed the dismount part, but that's what everyone's been saying.

No, it doesn't mean host. it means URL, which is a parameter provided to JDBC. I believe the format is:
jdbc:mysql://localhost/dbname

Posted Jul 14, 2013I cannot reproduce any of these issues so I cannot do anything about them.
And seeing them occur won't give me any useful information either- aside from confirming they exist to somebody somewhere.
Basically what I need is a way for me to be able to reproduce it. Then I will actually have something to work with. This goes for pretty much any bug or issue. If you can come up with a reliable way of reproducing it or even a set of events that seems to trigger it that I can try to use to reproduce it, then I can at least try to fix it.
I guess I should point out what I cannot repro:
I cannot reproduce either of the claim-related issues. I know they exist based on the video and the notes given, but I have no way to fix them, because I have no way of actually investigating them.
The horses/leads/leash thing. I can ride into and out of claims on a horse and nothing happens, aside from riding the horse. Same story for using a leash on them.

I set "AutomaticNewPlayerClaimsRadius: 0" so shouldn't it not make a claim at all?
All my players are experiencing this. If you could give me a time, I can show you on my server.

Sadly BC, build #130 had no effect on the claims issue we are experiancing. Another user also posted a ticket outlining the same issue. Ticket number 240, claims not working over time.

It looks like RobbyRP may have answered the 1x1 issue you have. I'm thinking it might make sense if it didn't make a claim at all in that case, but instead simply warned the player that it was too close to an existing claim (and perhaps highlighted that claim).
I cannot seem to reproduce the issue with horses and leads.

I believe these 1x1 claims are made when people place a chest without having any prior claims, but the default claim size would overlap an existing claim. This makes it so that person's chest is still protected, but they aren't altering somebody else's claim.
@LoneWolves32
The total amount of claim blocks is editable in the config.yml. /plugins/GriefPrevention/config.yml "MaxAccruedBlocks: [customizable]"

Posted Jul 13, 2013Every once in a while, I keep finding claims that are 1x1 or even some taking up one block but the stick isn't showing any gold blocks. My claim size limit is set to 8x8.
Edit: Found another bug. If you ride a horse into someone's claim, you get dismounted. Leads also do the same and detach.
