Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Posted Feb 19, 2013maybe i missed it, but can someone explain what "SilverfishBreakBlocks" and "EnderPearlsRequireAccessTrust" mean?
My server is set to hard, and zombies normally break down wooden doors but not iron ones, how would setting "HardModeZombiesBreakDoors" to true effect my server, meaning, will zombies also break iron doors or only wooden doors?

Posted Feb 19, 2013How many claims do you have? I switched to MySQL when claim number reached 2000. It’s just better for performance, but make sure you are comfortable with your current host and/or you know how to transfer databases – should you need to move your server, you cannot convert MySQL claims to flat files.

Posted Feb 18, 2013If I were to implement this with a Mindcrack FTB server, would the anti-grief features work with the wrath igniter, portal gun, and turtle programs? While I'm aware of MFFS, that is not a resource that is readily available to players until near end-game.

Posted Feb 17, 2013Feature request: Add some commands so we can figure out how many blocks we have left, and what the names/locations of our claims are etc.
Aside from that its a very simple to use plugin for claiming land :) Good job Tux!

Posted Feb 17, 2013I'm experiencing a weird bug with public claims.
On my server, there is an administrative claim with a subdivision. I've opened this subdivision to all players with /trust public. However, players who have just joined for the first time do not have permission to build in these public areas, while 'older' players have no problems at all.
The only difference I can find between players who can access public claims and players who cannot is time logged, and this is where I'm stumped. Is there a bug where players cannot access public claims if they don't have enough claim blocks? Or is there something I'm missing?

Sorry, I forgot that the Ticket tab was unavailable to you guys. It's now at the top of the page.
@7jadeon7
I'm quite sure a lot of server owners would love cuboid selections in this plugin. Unfortunately cuboid selections are not intuitive to the user and they eat up cpu power handing the extra dimension. However, there are situations where separation vertically is needed and this is where I'm going to diverge from bigscary. Instead of installing 2 protection plugins (now you've got two plugins trying to do the same thing) and getting more lag I will be introducing the option for cuboid subclaims. There will be another permission node for it and I have a way of optimizing it so that it only affects claims with active cuboid subclaims. Thereby removing the need for two protection plugins while keeping as much speed and ease of use as possible in Grief Prevention. That said, I will NOT be adding anything else on the To-don't list, so don't ask for it. (separate plugins though are more than free to add this functionality through the API)

Posted Feb 17, 2013How about blocking /tp whilst in /siege or in a fight?
this stops people from just teleporting in where you are.
I know we could remove tp from their command list. but much like I can't type /spawn when being attacked. attacker should be disabled to teleport to me.

Posted Feb 17, 2013Tux2 any chance on converting this to cuboid protection rather than claim this plane and everything above it is claimed? If that happens this plugin would be perfect. Doesn't even have to be cuboid strict I suppose but a vertical division would make a lot of us very very happy.

Something else is going on with your server if you're having trouble after just 2 hours with only 80 people... Not enough ram? Plugin issues? It could be a million things. Restarting is just covering up whatever the actual issue is.

Impossible, after 2 hours the server is very unstable with 80 users messing around.
