Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

I'd love to disable the "no opening containers during pvp combat" config option, but i do not have any. ;-) Perhaps a fully documented config.yml with all options would be a good idea.

Posted Nov 26, 2012I know it's probably a long shot, but could you add something to convert WorldGuard regions to GP? I found this plugin pretty late on so I'm sure you can understand why it might be hard for me to get people to claim new areas under GP when there are about 1500 regions on my server. I'm sure all you would need from the region files is the co-ordinates and the player's name, right? :S

See the setup/configuration page. There's a command reference at the bottom.
@RasCas
You could put a claim around it, then do /containertrust public in the area. You might also want to disable the "no opening containers during pvp combat" config option, OR reduce the pvp cooldown to 5 or 10 seconds.
@chrishillz
No sorry, no intent to support MCBans. If you want this very badly, you could possibly grab the source code and customize a tiny bit to make it work.

Thanks I'll check on that.
@FuzionZeroV2
Sorry, not planning to add it.
@fungreenfox
Set your sea level override in the config file to the actual sea level of your world(s).
@aczchef
Ah, now I get it. Just put a world in that list that isn't actually a world. I think that will work for you.
@chiorigreene
Sorry no. I think you'll find that you set GP config once and forget it. I'm actually worried about the bugs that could come out of such a command - I know it sounds simple on the surface, but making your plugin reload itself can be complicated when the plugin is itself complicated. :)
@Pixiyo
I don't think the problem you're describing has anything to do with GP. Please investigate further and tell me if you can find a way to make this happen consistently.
@LeeTheENTP
You figured it out. :)
@n33dy1
It's already done. It's called "chest donations" or something similar in the config file.
I understand the first point, but the second is very, very unlikely, since added items stack.
@Code_Red11
Thanks for the heads-up, I'll get it fixed.
@Jukkatibbs
As the owner of the claim, you have to do the /subdivideclaims yourself. Then you can use the /trust commands to give another player permission there.

I found the same error placing a boat. I was able to place the boat but the console told me, "Claim corner set. Use the shovel again..." the boat landed in the water but there were diamond block markers like when u first use ur shovel to create a claim.
I'm using CB 1.4.5-R0.2 (BETA) and GP 7.1
So, yes, placing a boat works but you also try to create a claim, like you do with a golden shovel. I also found that you cannot click a stone button while u have a boat in your hand.

With subclaims you may subdivide a large claim into smaller ones wih different trust levels.
Use the different levels of trust to grant access in your claims.

Posted Nov 24, 2012Hiya, Say I have a claim of my own or an "/adminclaims" spot marked.
I want to stay in control of it but then with "/sc" Sub claim it to someone. Do I do that part, or does (Player1) have to use the "/sc" command? Or is there something I'm missing with "/sc" to grant full permissions to that person? I'm just confused.
That Q.? was for anyone who knows. :) Thanks

Posted Nov 24, 2012Can you make it so we can disable (with a config option) the ability for people to double-click chests and add items into them? People keep losing items in other people's chestshops that are in claims and they want me to get them out and I'm like "nah don't double-click their chests" but they do anyway. I can see how some people might like it, to get donations in their chests or something, but some people don't. It's also bad for users with ChestShop because someone could fill their chest with a bunch of trash, meaning the chest can get full and they can't buy anymore of that item from other users.

Posted Nov 24, 2012It is GP that protects players form PvP that have no items in their inventory, right? I could have sworn there was a way to disable this, but I don't know what it is.
Wait. Is it ProtectFreshSpawns? I'll try that.
EDIT: I set ProtectFreshSpawns to false, and it seemed to work, but if this was by random chance that this worked, let me know.
