Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Posted Sep 2, 2012Okay, this is weird. The claim "outline" (gold and glowstone) is failing to appear, both with making a new claim and with "click with stick". Click with stick correctly reports the claim ownership and size, but the outline doesn't appear. I'm currently reversing recent changes made to the server config to see if I can figure out what's changed...
Anyone else had this problem before?

That's why I claim 5 blocks out from my outer wall, otherwise someone can build a dirt tower and leap across to the top of my wall.

Posted Sep 2, 2012Is there a way you can give permission to *everyone* to open doors / etc instead of person by person? Thanks!
EDIT: Also is it possible to prevent friendly mobs on claims from despawning? Thanks!

Posted Sep 1, 2012Hey, is there a way for you to set different amounts for the MaxAccuredBlocks for different players/groups through a permissions system? I.e. some kind of changeable permission node which can alter the number of blocks a certain group can accumulate overall! If not could you please take a look and consider implementing this or suggest an alternative way to do this (other than manually giving bonus claim blocks to players!), because I really want to be able to give extra blocks to people who have donated to the server, however it would be a lot of hassle for the staff to have to keep giving out claim blocks! Thanks! :)

Posted Aug 31, 2012Hello, I noticed that TNT does not work in claims even for the owner or when ignoring. I have blocksurfaceexplosions set to false FYI. Could you make it so TNT works when ignoring claims. One of my users can't blast mine :( .

Posted Aug 31, 2012Hello, I'm having some trouble with this plug-in. Everytime someone places down a chest, nothing happens. I know the commands are working, because I can give myself claim blocks, but there is no prompt/text that appear. Nothing happens when using a golden shovel or stick. We are running a Tekkit server with 3.1.2 and running MC version 1.2.5

Posted Aug 31, 2012guys,
do you have issue that players who dont have perm to build in area actually can quickly to build 3-4 blocks and climb up to walls that way?
I have that thing all time on mine server. They have just enough time to build and jump upto that block across the walls.
Cheers :)

Yes. Just use the command: /accesstrust all
This will give permissions for ALL players to use any buttons and/or levers (and beds if available) within your administrator claim(s).
<edit> forgot to say you need to be standing within the boundries of the admin claim itself when you use this command or it will grant the accesstrust permissions to all players in ALL of your admin claims. ;)

Existing players will have to create claims on their existing builds themselves.
As far as the tool, it is configurable so you can set it to whatever tool (or item) you want it to be.

Posted Aug 30, 2012Sorry if this has been posted before but over 200 pages of threads is a lots to go thru lol I love the idea of this plugin for so many reasons but i have a question before i install it. How does it work for all current players who have built all over the place already...do they now start off fresh as in do they have to put a chest down to continue building ? And i think I read some where before (when i first looked at this plugin) that the spells plugin is a problem as it uses the same tools ...was that correct as we do have spells on our server ? Thanks for your time Cheers Nenestar :)
