Gold2Exp

Table of Contents

The main and only purpose of Gold2Exp is that allows you to convert golden ingot to EXP points.
This plugin was made by request of server owner Weja for server aholacraft.com.

The valid sign format

[Gold2Exp]
Amount

Gold2Exp can be written in either lower/higher case, it doesn't matter.
Amount is a number of how much XP will be given per golden ingot.
This plugin will take one golden ingot at a time from your hands only.

Other lines don't matter, next two lines WILL be replaced with some player-friendly text:

Permission nodes

gold2exp.create - Creating a sign
gold2exp.convert - Converting golden ingots to XP

Sure, but I don't really find it useful because player can just click some more times :D I'm assembling new PC this week and after that I will continue on my plugins work, possibly even before.

can you have 2 amounts though ?

Horizontal line:[Exp2Gold]
Amount (gold)
Amount (Exp)

That way we can make the gold amount and the exp amount configurable.

I am really sorry for that mistake, I'm working on two projects at that time so I must exported wrong project under wrong filename.

I am reuploading file now, which is working, 1.0 is totaly working, it just have some exceptions to console when eating food.

I do have a test shadow copy server that I ran Gold2Exp on, it never would have occurred to me (or any sane admin) to test my bans plugin & functionality while testing your plugin so the testing passed. And the interference from your plugin caused the server bans to fail, so many hundreds of -should be banned griefers, hackers and otherwise unwanted players were able to join server, I would call that "nearly destroyed".

@tremor77 It did not destroy your server, not even nearly. Only long log file.

And you should use test server (for example localhost) for testing plugins.

I admit there is error in code, though :)

when i try to use /checkban from ultraban plugin I get this:

Your code from another project is spilling over into this plugin, clean up your code man, it nearly destroyed my server.

Buying of XP with in game currency would be possible, maybe in another plugin. When I have enough time- soon, I will create it, it isn't really much of work.

But currently I'm working on another banning plugin.

It would be possible, in future versions or as separate plugin. But you want double charge the users by paying with gold and the currency. This kinda defeats the main purpose of this plugin, but it's possible.

@DreamPhreak1 I understand what you mean, but why don't you just make signs buy gold ingots and sell xp separately in different signs?

There are plugins that can do that :)
