Glowjoin
what is Glowjoin
Glow join is a plugin to bukkit so you can make custom join, quit and "message of the day" message and you can also use colors
example
new player join: Welcom new player mariogrip
a player join: Welcome Back, mariogrip
who many playes have join: 23 Players Have Joined This Server!
the player left: mariogrip has left!
message of the day: Hello mariogrip, Welcom To the server!
find colors codes here:

How to install
- Download Glowjoin
- Take the Glowjoin.jar to your plugin folder
- start or reload your server :)
fix config.yml in the glowjoin folder

Message_of_The_Day: '&bHello %player%, Welcom To the server!' New_Player_Join_Message: '&dWelcom new player %player%' Returning_Player_Join_Message: '&dWelcome Back, %player%!' Posted Jun 22, 2012Hate to say this, but your link is wrong because there has recently been some re-organization on minecraftwiki and we have moved the color codes to their own page - Formatting Codes. :D

This is because you use Java 1.6 and the creator use JRE 1.7 ;)
For MarioGrip :
Eclipse : Project > Properties > Java Compiler > select 1.6 > Ok Rebuild the project and the problem is solved and your plugin work for Java6 and Java7
Sorry for my bad English. Cordially
