Give Anything Listener
Introduction
| This is a plugin that works with Votifier 1.8 or higher, and as such should be placed inside the plugins folder NOT the listeners one. | |
| This plugin listens to voting events passed from Votifier and allows you to reward players with anything when they vote for your server. | |
| If you can type it as a command you can use it to in this plugin! | |
| The Plugin works like a lot of the other listeners, but gives the user a detailed Configuration, on how to setup the broadcast message, and the colour / control codes they can use, Like {BOLD} etc... | |
| This Plugin REQUIRES Votifier 1.8 or above! | |
| When installing you must place the GAListener.jar into your /plugins folder. | |
| It will then create a config.yml inside of the folder which you can edit to your liking! |

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
You can disable the stat collection via /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml if you wish.

I'm having the same problem as you, except I'm not using Spigot. Voting rewards aren't being sent to players once they connect.

Seems as it was an issue in specific builds running spigot it's now working perfectly fine for me.

Edit: I'm assuming it was doing so because Spigot was skipping the item tick, until the correct patch was added?

Posted Apr 30, 2013Offline voting doesn't give items, past build #815 of Spigot, however it still gives offline voting money, it no longer gives players item rewards when voting offline, please look into this issue! :) Thanks.

Posted Apr 30, 2013Any chance by making a vote reminder thing where it'll go away once the person has voted? I.E. Have a timer thing on each player where it puts them in a que or something for 24 hours.

Next, my question.
I have 2 servers, but i only want one votesystem.
Maybe its possible to add support for this listener to "read" the others servers votifier? dont think you need to change so much more than the location to read the votifier and make a configline for that..
If u do, this plugin is the no 1 on my favorurites! :D

Posted Apr 29, 2013Hey, does anyone use this plugin for minecraftservers.net? I seem to be having a problem with it. The server knows about the vote but rewards aren't been given out.

All the other sites work fine, just wondering if I need to change the name to recognize the service.
