Give Anything Listener
Introduction
| This is a plugin that works with Votifier 1.8 or higher, and as such should be placed inside the plugins folder NOT the listeners one. | |
| This plugin listens to voting events passed from Votifier and allows you to reward players with anything when they vote for your server. | |
| If you can type it as a command you can use it to in this plugin! | |
| The Plugin works like a lot of the other listeners, but gives the user a detailed Configuration, on how to setup the broadcast message, and the colour / control codes they can use, Like {BOLD} etc... | |
| This Plugin REQUIRES Votifier 1.8 or above! | |
| When installing you must place the GAListener.jar into your /plugins folder. | |
| It will then create a config.yml inside of the folder which you can edit to your liking! |

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
You can disable the stat collection via /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml if you wish.

Posted Jun 2, 2013This GAListener is not working! I have tried everything, it is not giving me any information in the console that people are voting and it is not giving the items to people. Any suggestion?

Posted May 30, 2013Inspiration from Buycraft Could u make it so that when u type /vote , the chat locks so that players have the time to click the links? Same principal as with buycraft, use a command to make the chat unlock. If you could add this I would be very pleased.

I use groupmanager so the perm to give a single person a permission is /manuaddp name permmsion so i enter that in the config like 'manuaddp {username} essentials.kits.weekly' So when they vote they get access to /kit weekly for life unless i change or remove the kit from essentials, this is a great way to make people to vote you can get more players :D

Could do it through permissions? Like when they vote, a command is ran to put them in a new group which lets them use the /kit weekly

It is possible :) when you join my server you only have /kit starter but when you vote once at any site you get access to /kit weekly :D

Posted May 25, 2013Hey. Love your plugin, been using it for a while now.
Just a suggestion, as I run multiple worlds on my server, could you add Multi-verse support so that you can only be rewarded for voting in a certain world, or even better just get your items when you return to the other world.
Or, if that's not possible, could you even just add a permission node to choose who and what ranks will get rewards upon voting?

I set onlineonly to false. When a player votes while they're offline, the message they voted gets broadcasted, but when they get online, they don't get their reward.

Posted May 21, 2013Suggestions to add into the plugin.
1. Vote Counter - Also allowing it to generate HTML / Other code for server admins to post on their website for "Top Voter" lists. (This HTML code would auto update via the votes updating on the server.)
2. Command to reset all vote counts prior to the month ending.
3. A working Timed Vote System, so that if players vote 1/2/3/4 times a day it still auto removes it after the specified time. (EA: 12 hours+)
4. Convert all existing thing which put a request for time held things into MYSQL, allowing for non-lose of commands like other people are getting "(When I log in after voting I don't get the reward)" Having all that setup into MYSQL would solve all of the problems.
