Geoff's Calendar

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

GEOFF'S CALENDAR

Hello there! This is my first plugin, and one of my first, full projects. I will be developing this plugin much more, but could really use testers and suggestions. This first release is not fully complete but has basic functionality and is safe for use in a server. Please leave comments if you use my plugin, as I will try to get through as many of them as possible.

This plugin is intended to give users access to the age of their world. In a Bukkit Minecraft server, worlds' ages are stored. This plugin simply access that age, and based on the settings you give for telling time, will give you the date of your server! By default the date of the world is given in Gregorian/Vanilla like in real life (7 days, 4 weeks, 12 months), but with a bit of tweaking you can create a calendar that has 4 days a week with 8 weeks per month and 20 months per year, or whatever it is your heart wishes for the calendar to read!

INSTALLATION

  1. Download the "GCal.zip" file here
  2. Extract the contents of the zip into your server's 'plugins' folder
  3. Done!

  3. Modify the settings to your will
  4. Open which ever other file you wish to modify by supplying your own epoch/month/day names. If the file is empty, "Default" will take the place of what ever is missing.
