This is a transport system based on the Stargate series allowing gates to connect to each other based on a nine item combination.

But hey if you need help with anything I can help you but I can't test the new versions nor new plugins well because like I said my computer is too old to run mine craft but if you need help I'm you man.:-)

You can have an always on gate to go from one place to another but both ways would require an extra pair of gates.

Death from the vortex is on my list to be implemented as is custom gate shapes. If a player tries to destroy part of the gate the plugin will stop them. If the gate is not intact on loading it will either rebuild the gate or not load the gate depending on your config.

You are correct it is due to the map unloading. If I can get a test server set up which reproduces the problem I should be able to fix it rather quickly. I think I will add an admin command for resetting gates.

Yeah that seems to be the problem, just ran a few test and its "stuck" when no one is around. Its really a inconvenience to restart the server to fix them and you also cant dial out since the water would overflow. That would be really helpful solution, I hope something like that is implemented in the plugin. Thanks for letting me know what the problem is.

This happens on my server too, it appears only to happen when a user goes from either one worl to another or from one area of a map, to anon-contiguous area of the map, I believe the cause is that the source gate is unloaded, as a result of being teleported to an area which is not contiguous, to the are of the map you are on. Try having one person stay behind, and one person go through, on my server at least, this prevents the gate from sticking that way(and a restart fixes them if they're stuck). Perhaps the developer @dale2507 could consider adding in an extra bit of code to attempt to "fix/clear" all non-active gates every x amount of seconds or minutes, as a possible solution? (:

Posted May 16, 2013Hello, as a stargate fan I think it would be cool if you made the vortex cause death as well as destroy blocks, as this would be a bit more accurate, is this possible?
Also, would it be possible to perhaps offer a more "round" version of the gate as an alternative to the default model? I didn't want to touch the schematic, as I doubted it woudl work properly after editing it, as I am unsure if your plugin is set up to re position the vortex effect to a different size/shape gate.

Posted May 15, 2013Hi. I seem to have a problem with this plugin running on my server. In the world the dialing gate works fine, but the receiving gate gets a glitch,after the portal is suppose to close the water and Redstone torches stay on. Its not over flowing. The sign says Inactive but the portal remains "open" (its not open, just every indicator does not disappear when its suppose to). Did i miss something or is it a glitch that i can't fix right now? Thanks

Great plugin I love it, however, I have just one small suggestion that would make the plugin even cooler, it would be neat if it could also transport all mobs(even custom one son moded servers), and it would be cool to be able to "throw" items through the gate, I don't know if it's possible to detect if any items are inside the area of the gate or not, but if so, it would be cool(this would also add support for mod based vehicles being flown or driven through)!
Could you please let me know if you would consider adding any part or all of these features??]

Also I don't understand what you mean. Am I correct in thinking that the destination gate is showing inactive and both gates are not turning off? Is the travel working correctly and can you travel after the gate should have dsconnected?
