Extra Hard Mode
Extra Hard Mode changes the game rules to create NEW, INTERESTING CHALLENGES for players who have mastered the core game. Unlike Mojang's "hard" mode or other plugins' "hardcore" modes which just punish you more for making mistakes without actually changing game mechanics, Extra Hard Mode delivers interesting new challenges for advanced players.

Recommended Plugins
- Make tree logs and branches fall when chopped with GraviTree. Set "FallingLogsDamagePlayers" to true in its config for an extra challenge!
- For anti-grief, avoid plugins that disable explosions entirely, because that will undermine the cave-in mechanic and the new improved TNT.
- Avoid plugins which allow players to teleport themselves out of danger when they're in combat or lost. Especially avoid plugins which add commands like /home, /back, and /tpa, since they will undermine the difficulty VERY much. Consider instead a teleportation plugin like Population Density, which allows players to teleport only between teleportation posts it places on the surface every 400 blocks.
- You might want to look into balancing villagers. Having diamond gear tradable for very easily farmable materials will undermine the difficulty. I use Rebalance Villagers to make the trades harder.
Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- Config options that are activated, allowing me to see what people use (or don't)
You can disable the stat collection via /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml if you wish. If you want to see the stats, you can go here

Posted Sep 9, 2013u think u can make a plugin that can do cave-ins and forse players to bulid fence/wall supports fence being like 5 blocks nether fence being 8 and cobble walls being 12? and the supuorts need to be like mineshafts if players dont bulid thes thay get 3 warnings like (u feel uneasy due to the rummbleing u can hear) (u feel the ground shakeing) (u see stones starting to fall) then the area colaspses on them unlesss thay bulid a support thewarning could be 1-2-3 blocks out of the save zone and also keep the natural caves intack? or just add this to this plugin and make the other stuff configureable to be turned on/off i bin suarching for years for a realisic mining plugin and i like that this plugin is almost what iam looking for.heres a plugin i was hopeing for that got abaned if u can maby u can revive it or intergrate it into urs? http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/collapse/

I refer to them like that in code and they actually have red and green particle effects which is sufficient for me to call them green and red and grey (standard). I first called them "MagmaCube Summoner", "Slime Summoner" and "Silverfish Summoner" but for some reason I liked the colors more. If you have any descriptive names go ahead and let me know.
Edit: I dont know what the heck is up with my jenkins, but it seems to have deleted some builds (50-53)

I got a new server to host my minecraft server and jenkins server. The old server wasn't capable of running both and so my jenkins ran out of memory often. I was sick of manually starting it every other day so I just left it offline till I got a new more powerful server. But it's up again.
That other thing is called SbNotify (SbPopupAPI) it's only in my jenkins or on github if you want to compile it yourself :D

Posted Aug 22, 2013I'm kinda using a combo of variable triggers and various other plugins to make a custom race system, and not drowning with too many items would fit in nicely with the water race. In fact it would be kinda nice to have a permission node to bypass each part of the plugin individually.

Imo limiting the number of villagers that get killed doesn't fit into this plugin. The way I protect villages is that I replace all doors with full blocks when I find a village. If you are running a plugin that makes monsters break through walls that won't help but for vanilla it's enough.
If you would like to add more customization I'm always open for that.

Talking about villagers we play extra hard + hard settings on server and increased number of mobs/chunk. So once you discover village it's like 99% change find it wiped completely after first night. So I was thinking to disallow creeps from killing more than 50% villagers per night (or something similar). Plus (more easy) make mobs spawns more configurable (by depth) let say spawn Charged creepers only below Y level.
I will send you GitHub pull requests later on If I would decided to make this happen and code would not look like a dirty hack into yours =)
