Posted Jan 11, 2016Sorry everyone, but this plugin is no longer being developed. I pretty much gave up on bukkit ages ago with all the problems with bukkit and I was unable to stay committed to a public plugin. The plugin will stay available however no updates will be made

Posted Dec 1, 2015It's pretty broken for 1.8, but a great idea :D
Do you think you'll remake it?

Posted May 1, 2014Sorry for the long waited update! I have been very busy with the real world recently and have been unable to do much if any coding. However it's time for an update. However I have struck a major problem, which means that I will have to be COMPLETELY REMAKE this plugin. This means that over the next few weeks I will be remaking the plugin so it can work for future updates. This also means that current private worlds will be corrupt. However don't worry I will try my hardest to prevent your awesome worlds corrupting, so to do so part of this update will hopefully be a World-Fixer
Why so drastic? Well I have hit a major and quite unlucky problem that the past code is in a way hard to update. So I have decided to remake this plugin as quite frankly, it's a bit out of date. And at the moment Friendly Worlds isn't very User-Friendly.

Don't worry about the prefix, I have that sorted. Private worlds have a PrivateWorldData.yml file in their world file. That's how the plugin tells apart private and public worlds. And the weird messages you are seeing is old testing code... I could have sworn i deleted it but thanks. Also could you tell me when you receive these errors? and the world generation thing i can't fix. Your server will definitely receive lag no matter what i do. I'm bringing in a new and improved config file which will allow server owners to manage lag.

Posted Feb 2, 2014Thanks for fulfilling my request! I got this plugin and it looks awesome!
In general, there are still a lot of bugs, I find. My first concerns would be with cleaning up any errors from the server console just from general usage of this plugin. Also the world generating puts the server at a standstill.
There was also a point where I was typing /fw home and /fw back and it was simply teleporting me between 2 points in my private world.
Also I found that if the server stops while a user is in their world, the next time they join the server, they would be teleported to the location they were in in their private world, but in the public world. The chat would also fill up with alternating "none ops" and "teleported!" messages for a bit. They would also be told they do not have a world upon typing "/fw home". But when they were to type "/fw create", it would load up the world they had before and they would be able to join it again.
And I would like the worlds to be named with a prefix, to avoid any possible conflicts with existing public worlds. (So basically something like fw-gamewin1 and fw-JUSTCAMH) Or if it's possible, I would much prefer that the user worlds be stored inside the plugin's folder. ( \plugins\FriendlyWorlds\worlds )
Thanks again for creating this plugin for me! It really means a lot for someone to do that for me!
