FramePicture

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

What is FramePicture?

Frame Picture is a plugin that can draw images in a itemframe.

-> How to install

1. Download the newest FramePicture.jar
2. Download the newest ProtocolLib from http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/protocollib/
3. Stop your Server
4. Drop the FramePicture.jar into your plugins folder.
5. Drop the ProtocolLib.jar into your plugins folder.
6. Start your Server
7. See the Tutorial

1. Install the Plugin and ProtocolLib.
2. Join to your Server.
3. Place a item frame
4. Search a photo in the internet
5. Type "/fp set URL" in the chat
6. Interact a item frame
7. Finish!

-> Supported file formats

FramePicture supports the file formats .gif (no animations), .png and .jpg.

-> Multilanguage

This plugin supports multilanguage.
message.yml Downloads: English (Standard), Deutsch, France (by cocoman37), Czech (by jaraxxx), Portuguese (by LCastr0), Polish (by Alsiokowsky), Spanish (by jaime29010), Dutch (by Jhtzb), Russian (by Igor1998), Danish (by fungreenfox)
You can make Translates and send me the messages.yml!

Any updates on the chunk reloading bug for 1.7.2? This plugin is useless with this bug present. I really want to add the plugin back to my server.

I work on a 1.7.8 update. My plugin use for the image loading the entity tracker from bukkit. I don't know why the images destroy in chunk reload.

When i find the error, i will fix it. But i have no idea what is wrong.

It's just that as it is, the plugin is completely useless - since all pictures disappear from the frame, when the chunk gets unloaded.

Sadly, all current "pictures in frames" -plugins seem to be experiencing problems and the authors are even abandoning their plugins. We would have a BIG need for this kind of plugin which would actually work...we're using ImageOnMap atm, but it also has its own problems.

This plugin is really cool, but for some reason the pictures just disappear after a while? And when you delete the frames they are no longer frame pictures as no message appears. I don;t know what causes it but I think when the chunks get unloaded it looses them all. Can that bug be fixed? Thanks for the awesome plugin though
