Standard Installation and Basic Test

Just drop the FoundDiamonds.jar in your plugins folder and reload!

If you're an OP, continue to the next step. If not, give yourself the permission fd.* (You'll give normal players fd.broadcast for broadcasts, and fd.monitor for admin messages and light level monitoring.)

The best way to test the plugin and verify that it's working is to find some natural iron or coal and break it! You should see a message.

>Note: FoundDiamonds does not announce blocks that a player has placed (Unless an OP or a player with the fd.* permission uses /fd clearplaced after placing the block) Note: Only Players with fd.broadcast can see the broadcasts (this plugin requires permissions)

Note: Traps may or may not work in this version. Not sure what direction to go with these yet.

Fixed a bug with the clearplaced command not working for flat file setups
Fixed odd things in the config
Fixed a bug where it was impossible to give out one random item
Fixed a bug where the random item is also given to the person who mined the diamonds...
Added random potions to the config so you can now select which potions to give out (even bad ones maybe!)
Removed potion messages for now and replaced with something far simpler
Added more default potions (night vision is cool!)

Troubleshooting

Is the ore you broke a block that was placed by you or someone else. Do /fd clearplaced?
Is the world you're breaking ores in listed in /fd world list?
Are you using the latest version of FoundDiamonds? /fd version
Are you using the CB build this was built against?
Are you breaking ore in creative mode with creative mode disabled in the config?
Did you make changes to the config and forget to do /fd reload?

If none of the above helped you, it's likely that you have found a bug. Please report the bug along with your config.yml and any errors in the console you may be receiving so I can look into it.

Thanks for the Debug-Mode i found the problem. Found Diamonds work perfect if I forbid this permission : ignore.broadcasts. Its only Work when i make - -ignore.broadcasts in all Groups! But i understand why^{no Group have the ´*´ permission.}

I know three servers them the same(identical) problem had and could repair it only so, she forbids this permission.

When I mine, my stuff isn't appearing in the console,. Everyone else's is. :(

Can you make it have the option of alerting/broadcasting when people mine spawners? We have SuperSimpleSpawners and we need to keep an eye on that. Thanks

There are no worlds listed. /fd world add <name>

Also, that does not appear to be the latest version, as there is no debug section in your config. @theheroknights

Try using debug mode. /fd toggle debug

It will print the issues to the console.

Hello I use this plugin for my Server but players dont get the message. only admins. How do i fix that? Really want users to see that message to :) Nice plugin btw.

No, Multiverse should be just fine. Try the new version. Do /fd toggle debug - then check the console for the reason it's not broadcasting.

Alright guys. I added a debug mode to log why broadcasts are canceled to the console. Either enable it in your config or do /fd toggle debug to enable it! Here is some of the output to expect:

I can't. It's something that is incredibly unreliable and should be removed. Having that permission can definitely cause issues with other plugins as well. I highly recommend removing that.

If you type /fd admin in-game it toggles it if a admin/op can receive the message.

hey i have no broadcast! No Message when a player breaks a ore. The problem is in Version 3.2.2 and 3.2.3 the same. No Message for Admins and Players. What is the problem? I use Mulitverse is this the problem?

Update: The new version works. However, because I have -"*" set in permissions, I am getting ignored when sending out broadcasts. Maybe you should somehow fix this.

Are you getting Broadcasts?

I tested on a raw world with only vault and FD and only got the breadcasts on Console. I tested being OP and having FD.* as Builder.

I'm with 3.2.2 because I need the dates =x

I'm having the same thing on FoundDiamonds v 3.2.2. FoundDiamonds v 3.2.1 is working tho.

I'm having an issue. I did everything you listed under troubleshooting, but I'm still not getting alerts on finds in game, I'm getting them in the console and it's logging, but I'm not getting them in game and I don't know what to do to fix that. I even added -ignore.broadcasts permission. It's not just admins not being able to see it, no one can see it. It only shows in the console and not to the server.
