Standard Installation and Basic Test

Just drop the FoundDiamonds.jar in your plugins folder and reload!
If you're an OP, continue to the next step. If not, give yourself the permission fd.*
(You'll give normal players fd.broadcast for broadcasts, and fd.monitor for admin messages and light level monitoring.)
The best way to test the plugin and verify that it's working is to find some natural iron or coal and break it! You should see a message.
>Note: FoundDiamonds does not announce blocks that a player has placed (Unless an OP or a player with the fd.* permission uses /fd clearplaced after placing the block) Note: Only Players with fd.broadcast can see the broadcasts (this plugin requires permissions)

- Removed potion messages for now and replaced with something far simpler
- Added more default potions (night vision is cool!)
Troubleshooting
- Is the ore you broke a block that was placed by you or someone else. Do /fd clearplaced?
- Is the world you're breaking ores in listed in /fd world list?
- Are you using the latest version of FoundDiamonds? /fd version
- Are you using the CB build this was built against?
- Are you breaking ore in creative mode with creative mode disabled in the config?
- Did you make changes to the config and forget to do /fd reload?
If none of the above helped you, it's likely that you have found a bug. Please report the bug along with your config.yml and any errors in the console you may be receiving so I can look into it.

What CB version are you using?Tested with the latest dev build and latest beta build. Works flawlessly, so that is not the problem.Are you receiving any errors? If so can you paste the error?
Is it a conflicting plugin? Can I get a list of plugins?
What version of FoundDiamonds are you using?

It shows the message "player just found 8 diamond ore" but doesn't say anything about light level. I think admin/broadcast messages are different, right? Because in chat it shows as "player JUST found ..." but I don't see the word "just" anywhere in the config for the broadcast syntax

In the config file, It is explained: Broadcasts:
Broadcasted Blocks:
Options:
Message: "@Player@ found @Number@ @BlockName@"
@Prefix@ can be used for the [FD] prefix
@LightLevel@ will show the light level a block was broken at
@LightPercent@ will show the light level a block was broken at in a percentage
If you have done this and it's still not working, can you please paste your config?

Admin messages are easy to set up. You simply need fd.monitor on the group, you want to 'monitor' and give the admins, fd.admin. Now we get into the commands: /fd admin is the stem, we will be using all of the commands from the stem.

I have Found diamonds installed for some time now. And i am very happy with it, but my server is getting more and more people. and more "spam" of found diamonds from the regular mining.
is there any option, to set "broadcasting" to staff only, instead of the complete server. I tried admin messages, and the config, but could not find anything related.

Posted Jan 15, 2013Bug: non-OP admins/mods are unable to receive light-level broadcasts ("player is mining diamond ore below 10% light") even if they have fd.broadcast permission. Only OPs receive the light-level broadcasts

Posted Jan 8, 2013Big request that makes my life easier and prolly the life of many users who use this great plugin:
A command to tp to the last Diamond locations and show the user who mined them and when. This way it would be very easy and comfortable to catch them as long as admins are not online ;)
What do you think?

The person has to have fd.monitor to be monitored. Might seem odd to do that extra step, but it's to ensure that the plugin doesn't just monitor administrators and mods. I'd just give fd.monitor to your n00b group or whatever.

There is now :) It's very untested at the moment, so if it doesn't work please let me know. It's set with a true/false at the end of your trap (the persistent flag)
/fd trap diamond ore true
The true means that the trap is persistent and will not break when triggered.

Myself and another kept forgetting sometimes when we kept following them and tping everywhere.
Then randomly someone would trigger it. Lol
