Standard Installation and Basic Test

Just drop the FoundDiamonds.jar in your plugins folder and reload!
If you're an OP, continue to the next step. If not, give yourself the permission fd.*
(You'll give normal players fd.broadcast for broadcasts, and fd.monitor for admin messages and light level monitoring.)
The best way to test the plugin and verify that it's working is to find some natural iron or coal and break it! You should see a message.
>Note: FoundDiamonds does not announce blocks that a player has placed (Unless an OP or a player with the fd.* permission uses /fd clearplaced after placing the block) Note: Only Players with fd.broadcast can see the broadcasts (this plugin requires permissions)

Troubleshooting
- Is the ore you broke a block that was placed by you or someone else. Do /fd clearplaced?
- Is the world you're breaking ores in listed in /fd world list?
- Are you using the latest version of FoundDiamonds? /fd version
- Are you using the CB build this was built against?
- Are you breaking ore in creative mode with creative mode disabled in the config?
- Did you make changes to the config and forget to do /fd reload?
If none of the above helped you, it's likely that you have found a bug. Please report the bug along with your config.yml and any errors in the console you may be receiving so I can look into it.

To rebut this: it uses the same permission as admin message so if a player is breaking a ton of diamond ore/miscellaneous ores, the admin will receive a of information such as: the ores broken and light level violations. Also if set to false the admin doesn't receive any information about the light level violations. You also said to find an x-rayer, you open the log.txt and find it like that, but its not needed when you can easily get all this information in-game.

Are you sure that you added the permissions properly? You need to add fd.broadcast and fd.monitor to the players.
Also, don't use silent mode: false, since mining in the dark should just be an additional help for you to judge if a user is using XRay or not. Blocking it is not the smartest thing, since many users just turn everything to the brightest level. Doesn't mean that they have a client/mod with fullbright.
To find XRay users, open log.txt and /tppos (essentials) to the mined diamond ores. If it's dark and not a straight path, the user is prolly xrayin.
Use RateofXray as an additional help and eventually Anti Xray to stop them from mining too fast.

Can i recommend you turn silent mode: false, it blocks users from using full bright mod.

Sure can, But so u know i did disable them to see if it worked and it didnt. It started working again a few hours ago so well see what happens now..

I have Fd 3.6 and i have Bukkit-1.3.2-R1.0-b2377jnks (MC: 1.3.2) (Implementing API version 1.3.2-R1.0) so both are updated. again yesterday morning it was working for me, only logged 2 things and was announcing, than last night when i logged in it wasnt working.i am the only with access to plugins.
Here is the fd config file, the only time it logged since i redownloaded it on the 1st( it seems its only logging the traps), and my permissions config with the groups it effects. Hopefully you see something that i didnt. I hope. http://pastebin.com/KwSsPzdQ
Oh and i also tried downgrading FD to the next one down and it didnt work either.

I have all of the following in. I also created a ticket almost 5 days ago and have heard nothing. My plugin goes from working to only logging to only broadcasting to not working at all back to only broadcasting than not working at all. I have all the the permissions in, the world name is correct, all the blocks are in the list, i even tried deleting the plugin completly and reinstalling it and its still not working. I also tried disabling ALL of my other plugins to make sure one of them wasnt throwing it off, and it still wasnt working. Im at a loss and really need to get this fixed.
