ForumCraft
Since no one has expressed any interest in this plugin, I have decided to stop development.
Many servers have websites, but they are separate from the game which makes going to them a pain. It's also very hard to link your website to your server. Also, a domain name for your website costs valuable donation money that you need to keep your server running. Enter ForumCraft, in-game forums. Your players never have to leave the game to comment on forums and read important information!
Commands
- /forum - View all forums.
- /forum <#> - View all posts in forum <#>.
- /forum post <#> <text> - Post <text> to forum <#>.
- /forum toggleopen <#> - Toggle open status for forum <#>.
- /forum create <name> - Create a new forum named <name>.
- /forum <#> delete - Deletes forum <#>.

The delete function is not for posts, just forums. I am working on getting the source for ALL of my plugins on github. I will work on adding more features.

Posted Jan 1, 2013I really like the idea of this plugin! I think its awesome to collect ingame information, likeif you find a village that you not plan on using you can post the coords in the forum and stuff like that. I noticed that the delete functionality doesn't work yet. Neither for a forum nor for a post.
Where is the src for this? I would like to see the plugin evolve and maybe be able to use dev builds.

Posted Dec 29, 2012This is its own independent forum, not linked to the Internet. When you chat, your username is stored with the post. I will add banning abilities. Remember, this is only an alpha.

How would a user verify their name and password?
What's to stop someone spamming the /forum post 4 SPAM, command?

Posted Dec 28, 2012As a forum owner for many years (Minecraft and non-Minecraft related) this could be a very cool plugin. I'm going to check it out. The only issue I see right off the bat is that /forum toggleopen is a bit of a lengthy command to type out.
