ForceCheck
Detect forcefield with one simple command!
This simple plugin checks whether an user is using forcefield or killing aura cheats by spawning fake NPC's in a split-second around the player. The plugin will then tell the executor of the command whether the player checked was forcefielding or playing legit. Admins can now know whether they have to ban a player for using forcefield, or not!
Usage: /forcecheck [player's name]. If no player is specified and you are sending the command as a player from in the game, you will check yourself.
Please note: this plugin only detects forcefields / killing auras that focus on players.
Yup, you may very well have a point there. Lag is not a great condition for this.. I'm trying to think of a way to get better accuracy when it's lagging, but I'm not entirely sure if there are ways for that.
That is correct, however I know that hacked clients don't keep track of this (yet). Clients will always be able to counteract against anti-cheat plugins, but for this test that is not the case (yet). If this will be the case, I will change the method of judging forcefield.

Posted Sep 12, 2013Also doesn't seem to work too well if the player is running or moving quickly.

Posted Sep 10, 2013Doesn't seem to respond too well to lag.
If the fake players are removed server side before the client sends the hit packets then the player doesn't get flagged.

Posted Aug 25, 2013The client could easily be modified to counteract this.
For instance, one could simple temporary ignore players that were not on the server the second before (the NPC that you plugin creates).
