FLockClient

ATTENTION: At this time I'm not able to maintain this project. If any experienced developer wants to maintain this project while I can't, contact-me.

FLockClient is a small and simple tool to force players to use the server defined .jar, It might be useful to modded server and also can work to prevent hacked clients, forcing all the players to use a clean .jar. A client-side modification is required.

Permissions

Permission	Effect
FLockClient.Debug	Receive in-game debug messages
FLockClient.F3	Access access to the "F3" menu
FLockClient.Texture	Ability to bypass the texture pack lock
FLockClient.hash.<client>	Access to the <client> defined
FLockClient.Gui.Debug	Show debug information on download
FLockClient.ByEmpty	Join the server without the client

Commands

/lc ban - Ban the player MAC address
/lc unban - unBan the player MAC address
/lc info - Show information about a client
/lc list - List players using any authorized client
/lc reload - Reload the configuration
/lc unex - Re-enable the anti-cheat protection

Attention

This plugin is made to work with a client mode that is available here, if you don't use the mod, the server will not recognise you!

Know Bugs

Sometimes the kick message will not be properly shown, this is not related to FLockClient.
Let me know if you find any!

Hey Furmiga, what does it mean when FC kicked you and says "kicked, reason : Server error, contact the administrator" and "invalid config data".

With debug on, this is all is says too. I've completely removed the FC server side, installed the one on Jenkins, had it rebuild all the files, installed the v.2.3 client, but same message.

Still going through it, just seeing if you know off hand what the error meant.

99% sure that it ain't caused by this mod, try to remove everything from your /mods folder, and PLEASE dont try to put the FLockClient.zip or FLockClient.jar inside the mods folder.

I add the client mod to the minecraft.jar. I start minecraft and it comes a blackscreen.

your plugin and mod is great :)

i developed a launcher (like anjocaido launcher) and modified the premium launcher so i get updates from my webpage, i can add/remove mods of all mi clients when i want. and my server is instaled in a diferent than minecraft oficial.

with that launcher your plugin is awesome, no more hackers (lammers).

thanks man. im actually modifing launcher for 4 servers wich use your mod/plugin.

I'm trying to setup a Jenkins thingy to this project, it will be nice to maintain constant updates and people wont need to wait forever until I finish everything before uploading. This plugin is very complicated to maintain, thats why I take my time before upload a new release.

Isso não é um erro com o plugin, EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION geralmente acontece quando da algum erro pra acessar um método que nao esteja na .jar, pode ser uma .dll por exemplo. Se tiver dando esse erro com muita frequência atualiza seu bukkit e reinstala/atualiza o java.
