FLockClient

ATTENTION: At this time I'm not able to maintain this project. If any experienced developer wants to maintain this project while I can't, contact-me.

FLockClient is a small and simple tool to force players to use the server defined .jar, It might be useful to modded server and also can work to prevent hacked clients, forcing all the players to use a clean .jar. A client-side modification is required.

Permissions

Permission	Effect
FLockClient.Debug	Receive in-game debug messages
FLockClient.F3	Access access to the "F3" menu
FLockClient.Texture	Ability to bypass the texture pack lock
FLockClient.hash.<client>	Access to the <client> defined
FLockClient.Gui.Debug	Show debug information on download
FLockClient.ByEmpty	Join the server without the client

Commands

/lc ban - Ban the player MAC address
/lc unban - unBan the player MAC address
/lc info - Show information about a client
/lc list - List players using any authorized client
/lc reload - Reload the configuration
/lc unex - Re-enable the anti-cheat protection

Attention

This plugin is made to work with a client mode that is available here, if you don't use the mod, the server will not recognise you!

Know Bugs

Sometimes the kick message will not be properly shown, this is not related to FLockClient.
Let me know if you find any!

When I saw this plugin I thought: Ooh great, now nobody can hack on my server..... ooh, cool, it can download it all on it own, haha great, now even a Blondie can enter my server XD

But know It's not downloading on it's own, it just HOLDS you, until you takes the .jar into the .minecraft/bin folder :( So, know a blondie can't enter the server :| Is it supposed to be like that?

If it's out tomorrow after school I'll install the plugin, and test it ;) hope it's working this time, last time, people couldn't join, because they didn't get the .jar file, and therefore, they were kicked, I disabled the function after about 2 min, without success, soo, I hope it's working :) It will really help by removing hackers (functions like Nodus :))

hehe ok ;) Well, some people on my server do have a bad computer, so then I'll give some great stuff, so that they won't have that much lag, therefore, Optifine has been added to the jar :)

Instead of using Forge, use MCPC+ (Forge + Bukkit + other) ... you wont need Optifine.

Edit: Nevermind, I was thinking server side stuff.

v1.7 coming up very shortly, maybe in a few hours if any other problems pops up. Total rewrite of the original plugin, bans, forge, file download, everything will be working better (bugs always allowed haha) and way much lightweight.

Yes, Forge will work with 1.7. Its been tested, and its working great. I believe he is finishing up a few things before he released it.

Hey man great work! now, when I install the FLockClient on my custom jar, I woulnd't join the server, it tells me "Connecting to server" and it's stuck on it.... Please help :( I've deleted the Meta-INF

Edit: Also, in the console it's written that I've no active clients.... And I face this problem ever since. I thought it would be fixed with time.. :(

Going to start communicating through here...

Just was testing a few more things with the newest version, and when I place a mod in the mods folder, I get the "unallowed" message when trying to place. Same thing for the "coremods" folder. (This is great!)

Now just trying to get the /send folder function to work.

When I'm trying to join the server I'm joining as normal, but I can't see if it's downloading from the server, and after a little while, I'm getting kicked, because I don't have the jar, when I'm writing: /lc list (in the consol) It says: Active clients: [0] []
