FLockClient

ATTENTION: At this time I'm not able to maintain this project. If any experienced developer wants to maintain this project while I can't, contact-me.

FLockClient is a small and simple tool to force players to use the server defined .jar, It might be useful to modded server and also can work to prevent hacked clients, forcing all the players to use a clean .jar. A client-side modification is required.

Permissions

Permission	Effect
FLockClient.Debug	Receive in-game debug messages
FLockClient.F3	Access access to the "F3" menu
FLockClient.Texture	Ability to bypass the texture pack lock
FLockClient.hash.<client>	Access to the <client> defined
FLockClient.Gui.Debug	Show debug information on download
FLockClient.ByEmpty	Join the server without the client

Commands

/lc ban - Ban the player MAC address
/lc unban - unBan the player MAC address
/lc info - Show information about a client
/lc list - List players using any authorized client
/lc reload - Reload the configuration
/lc unex - Re-enable the anti-cheat protection

Attention

This plugin is made to work with a client mode that is available here, if you don't use the mod, the server will not recognise you!

Know Bugs

Sometimes the kick message will not be properly shown, this is not related to FLockClient.
Let me know if you find any!

Ok, took out the space and same problem. Here is the exact path to the minecraft.jar file (this is just a windows test box):

Path : C:\Users\pc\Desktop\testwithnospaces\Minecraft\plugins\FLockClient\jars

I also bypassed McMyadmin launching it and just launched the .jar from a .bat, same problem. I also deleted everything, and injected the minecraft .jar with the same version of Forge the server had (.667) instead of (.661), same problem.

I am unable to get it to work, and below are the exacts steps im using, and errors received:

Server

Download MCPC+ : http://ci.md-5.net/job/MCPC-Plus/365/
Execute the above .jar (it should automatically create mods, coremods, plugins, etc)
Rename the above .jar to minecraft_server.jar
Create a .bat file that will launch the above .jar via java
Download FlockClient - Server to the plugins folder that was auto-created above.
Launch the .bat file that was created above, and a new FlockClient folder should now be created
Stop the server.
Download bPermissions and Vault; save to the plugins folder.
Give "everyone" permissions to : FlockClient.Hash.minecraft

Client

Delete all other old copies of Minecraft, start from scratch.
Download new copy of the Minecraft client
Download MinecraftForge : http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/board,3.0.html
Inject contents of MinecraftForge into Minecraft client that was downloaded above.
Delete Meta-Inf
Inject contents of FlockClient / Forge v.1.3 into Minecraft client that was downloaded above.
Copy the main minecraft client .jar to the /plugins/ForgeClient/jars folder on the Server Side.

After the above was done:

Start the server
Start the client
Connect to the server and try to play

Other Notes

No mods, no coremods, no other plugins than what is mentioned above

Errors Received

Client side : "Disconnected by Server" "Server error, contact the administrator"

Tenta instalar numa copia limpa da minecraft.jar sem mais nada (deleta META-INF). Eu to usando aqui sem problemas inclusive no servidor de testes.

Due to recent events, i'm not being able to provide full support to all my projects, right now i'm working on FLockClient, big changes are comming, almost everything will run on server side, improving a lot the security. Client detection and all the current problems will also be gone plus forge support. Expect a new build coming out next week.
