How to Use
To generate a flatlands world with multiverse and use custom generation modes:
- First you need to run the command wizard: /flbw create [WorldName]
- /mv create [WorldName] NORMAL -g FlatlandsBuilder -t FLAT
Java 7 Only!
FlatlandsBuilder has dropped all support for Java 6 users and is now completely Java 7 dependent so please ensure you are running Java 7 on your server.

Future Plans
- Add the ability to generate a whole world of one particular item, if one item id is supplied.
- Add block blacklist
- Add Alternating Borders.
- Optimization of the Plugin.
- Large plots generator / populator. (64x64 - 1024x1024 blocks)
- New Generation Pattens to be added
- New command based wizard for configuring worlds.
- FlatlandsBuilder will become fully dependant on Multiverse-Core, wont be able to run with out it.
- Add command to FlatlandsBuilder to generate world.
- New configuration standard defaults, and world specific.
- Implement new config.
- Implement API to take the old way of configuring FlatlandsBuilder to the new config based system.
Once this is achieved this plugin will be complete.

Posted Oct 18, 2012Hello,
I'm a happy user of this plugin, but I don't know why, it's seems broken or something. I generated a 64 high flat map a few months ago with this plugin. When I go to new chunks, it's broken. It stops being 64 high and go to the normal superflat (which is only 4 layers). http://i50.tinypic.com/2ypm4o5.png Please help me fix this. It's on 2 worlds now (the second one is generated less than a month ago, and these settings ARE still in the config.

Naw its not, but similiarily i think it might be a multiverse issue, i have seen someone else report the same kind of issue with a similiar plugin to yours. Thanks anyway! :D

Posted Jul 25, 2012Is there any way to setup some sort of automated build permissions? .. So no one can destroy roads and what people have claimed?
Edit:
I see you have been talking on -InfiniteClaims- and asking them to support this. I really hope this happens soon!

PlotMe i think it is would be the best to use at this stage i think, because i believe it has a roads width config setting.
ATM im talking with InfiniteClaims DEV to see if they can add an api so road width can be configured as it only allows for width 7 roads not 16. InfiniteClaims will be the plugin to use if we get the two working together.
Dave.

Posted Jul 11, 2012Just something I would like to see(My opinion and thoughts often don't count for much) is a flat top, but underground, the same gen as default minecraft.
The reason for this is, I want worlds where people can build easily, but they still have to mine and stuff?
Also, ability to add in trees too? Would make this my favourite gen plugin out there of this type then. :D
Anyway, as I said, just some thoughts right out of the head of a dreamer. Anglican.

The lowest you can go is level 1, level 0 is bedrock, and level 1 is your pattern layer If you check you log, when the world was generated you will see [WARNING][FlatlandsBuilder] Invalid height '0'. Using 64 instead.
so try this command:
/mv create <worldName> NORMAL -g FlatlandsBuilder:1,[BlockA],[BlockB],[BlockC] -t flat

Posted Jun 27, 2012Awesome work man, really like this plugin!
One question though, it it possible to 'lower' the '0 level' of the world? It now renders on y=66 (like any other world) but is it possible to lower this to, for example, y=20?
