Feudal
Feudal
Overview
Overview
Feudal is a Bukkit plugin meant to bring the feudal system to life on your server! The rich player-led government allows for an ever changing system that will bring excitement and many hours of frustrating, yet fun, play time to your server. The plugin it meant to as closely resemble the real feudal system used in the Middle Ages by many European countries and offers a system of player-oriented rules, as well as a realistic touch, that other feudal plugins don't offer. (If you want to know more about this system, search it, or watch Braveheart for a more interesting, and somewhat less informative version ;) )
Planned Features
Planned Features
- Become a Lord and create your own Kingdom to rule.
- Claim chunks for your Kingdom to expand how much land you control (Configurable max)
- Appoint Nobles and award them land.

- Kingdoms lose land when a Noble loses their land grant.
- Tax integrated with Vault/Essentials economy.

This plugin is in development and completely open to suggestions! I want to make this as best as it possibly can be! Please comment.

Might as well give a status update with this new activity. Because of popular request, I am currently devoting most of my development time on a BungeeCord port of SexyMotd. However, this project is still in my scopes. As soon as I finish and release SexyMotdBungee, close to all of my free development time will be routed to this project and I expect to be able to get at least a beta version out within the year (hopefully much less).
Things I have recently considered for the project:
- Considerably more titles and positions you can hold within the kingdom.
- Possibly some form of religion system (since it was a big part of this period) including churches and authority of religious figures such as popes and clergys.
- Probably much more when I get back into it more.
Things I have done recently:
- Redesigned the title/authority system.
- Redesigned the data storage system
- Started creating the command logic
As for you Mankind59, sadly, I am not really close to finishing this plugin, so it won't be available in release for a while. However, I will contact you on Skype very soon and maybe include you in some of the development (testing, ideas, etc.) if you would like.
Thanks for the comment! Good to hear that people are still interested in the project.

Posted Jan 17, 2015Hey Qwertyness, I noticed there wasn't much action down here in the comments. So I thought I would give you my thoughts. This idea is amazing, I love it. My server is currently developing a new game mode called 'Kingdoms' and I think this plugin would make an amazing addition. I love the idea of overthrowing the Lord by killing him/her, I would also love if you could update this plugin more and add some more features...I cannot think of any off the top of my head, but I think with a bit of coaxing and fresh ideas you could really make this plugin big.
I hope you find my comments somewhat useful, and I look forward to watching the development of this project.
If you would like to chat about the plugins future sometime, don't hesitate to contact me via Skype: mannersmanley
