Posted May 15, 2014Small change and a bug found. Currently new land claiming feature contains bug which I need to fix before releasing, this would had caused breaking/placing blocks inside claimed region to not respect deny-place/break lists (with the new system).
and that small change: added "Region-SetupMessages" configure option, if its set to false FCP will not generate welcome/farewell message upon creating FCP region..

Factions/SimpleClans needs to update for 1.7.9 before that, current update (coming today) should work for 1.7.5.
You are free to define size of each FCP points as you wish, just pre-define regions instead using default "Create region upon creating FCP point", this is done by "Region-Creation" false instead true, which allows to use already existing (created) regions for FCP points.
Factions or SimpleClans is supported at this moment, FCP needs some plugin to get party/group information from, if you have some plugin which you prefer using over Factions/Simpleclans, let me know.

Posted May 13, 2014Hey hey, im running a small bukkit server my self (dóh obvious) but i have to ask you something, is it working with 1.7.9? and, can i make as many points as i wich, and can i make them as big as i wich? and at last.... i have to use factions? btw, all my friends are really entousiastic about the plugin!!!

Posted May 12, 2014MC 1.7.5 and Factions 2.3.1 tested (alone but still) and seems to work, now off to sleep (for an hour or two before wife wakes me to go shopping) and uploading update today evening (its 13:50 here, day off from work spend well), this includes basic SimpleClans support (with 2.3.1 download). Towny support is still in dark places but basic things are working, will look into it more later on.

Posted May 8, 2014Back from germany and after holiday work week finally ending, I´ll release "early alpha" this weekend with current updates to the land claiming. FCP update is for Factions 2.3.1 and Factions 1.8.2
Next update (after this weekend) will have first attempt at "any block can act as capture flag detector", this is quite simple and feedback is more than welcome.
1) You will define blocks at CapturePoint-Detector[]: - list, example:
If player interact with block inside region that has Capture Point attached to it, plugin will check if that block is defined at "CapturePoint-Detector" list and allow to capture that point if it is, otherwise nothing happends. FCP will automatic disallow breaking blocks inside capture point regions if they are defined at CapturePoint-Detector list.
That is the basic idea and should be easy enough for everyone to understand and setup, but feel free to give your opinion on that.

Posted Apr 15, 2014@bossomeness In following updates (possible next) FCP will allow any kind of block to act as "capture point detector", instead reading from text plugin will look item metadata to get necessary info, this should remove "only sign" limitation and also fix factions with long names screwing up things.

Posted Apr 15, 2014How hard would it be to change the claiming system from a sign to some kind of post? It would be nice to also have these posts (or signs) spawn randomly throughout the world.
By posts, I mean something like this: D=Double Stone Slab; O=Obsidian; G=Gold; R=Redstone torch; _ = Air

All sides would look something like that. Maybe these posts could also have different rewards, like a certain amount of faction powerboost, different size land claims (like a radius of x chunks around the post), different amounts of money, or all of them above. I hope you get what I'm trying to say here. Like have different tiers of posts, such as lapis, redstone, gold, diamond, and emerald (all configurable), each with their own rewards.
Just a suggestion. Great plugin idea btw.

This command would insantly capture a point for a player/the faction/clan he is in.
Would work good with denizen and other plugins that can execute commands

Posted Apr 10, 2014Im back from the dead, sorry for delay everyone but its been busy, busy times lately with own game development and such, but things are finally at that point I can focus into updating bukkit piugins again, yay!
All right, current FCP update has been running in test server (public one) for month now, no complains so far, I assume everything is going well.
SimpleClans support beta has been send to few people to test out.

Posted Mar 10, 2014For some reason when I use this plugin I am able to use the command /fcapture Money and /fcapture XP, but when I do that it tells me to right click a sign to set it as a point but I right click the sign and nothing happens. Its just stuck at it telling me to right click a sign and I don't really know why.

Posted Mar 10, 2014SimpleClans (Legacy) beta support is done and Towny support is also going decent, some features might not make into SimpleClan or Towny beta releases, depending how fast I can create basic support for each plugins.
After upcoming update is released, I focus improving existing features and completing SimpleClans/Towny support. ETA is later this week for SimpleClans and Factions update at least. Again I must remind everyone this is ALPHA build, do not expect same quality as you might see from beta/mature plugins.

It´s hard to say, currently claiming capture point, region claiming and reward systems are working with SimpleClans. I will most likely throw "alpha-let-see-what-works-and-what-does-not-work" build early next week for those who want to test SimpleClans support.
